We have been clients of KC Dog Runners since 2012, when we inherited Tess, an older Cocker Spaniel. We were a little concerned that "running" might be too much for her, but when we explained the situation to Jeff (the owner) during our initial interview, he was EXTREMELY understanding. He lined us up with dog walkers who took Tess on nice, slow walks at her pace. All the walkers were wonderful; they left detailed notes about their time with her and how she did on the walk. And they always gave her treats! :-) A special shout-out to Tressa, who is Tess' favorite pal. Tressa goes over and above to make sure that Tess is comfortable; last year, when her allergies were bothering her, she wiped her eyes with a soft moist cloth every time she visited, after they'd come back inside. Tressa also fed our two inside kitties when we were going to be late returning home for their dinner. Tess has gotten too elderly for regular walks, but we haven't forgotten the Dog Runners. Yes 5 stars because KC Dog Runners ARE as good as it gets. We have used KC Dog Runners for more than 5 years. At first they were running with my "youngish" black lab. Now that she is aging she is enjoying her walks. The people who work for Jeff are reliable, trustworthy and LOVE pets. We have also used Jeff and his team to take care of our two cats and now 2 dogs when we are out of town. What some people may not know about this company is that Jeff and his team run, walk and work with dogs in the local shelters as volunteers. Not only do Jeff and his team donate their time but they also recruit others to volunteer. We have used KC Dog Runners for daily walks/runs and boarding since 2013. Jeff and his teams are the ultimate professionals and they love our two labs as if they were their own. You can count on them to walk/run your dogs even in bad weather. Scheduling on line is simple and Jeff is incredibly accommodating even when we have to schedule last minute visits. My dogs are always excited to see Danny for their morning run and Jane in the afternoon for a walk/run. Jane also boards and she and her family are a second family to our dogs. KC Dog Runners is an excellent company that really knows how to cater to their dogs and their owners. I have used them since my 2 1/2 year old retriever was 1 year old. Jeff and the other runners are great. I can schedule online and get a confirmation that evening. I have even done last minute changes, they are good with working with me. I now have my daughter's dog. KC Dog runner's come to the house take both dogs on a run and then leave a note about their trip. I could not be more pleased, either could my two guys. Have been using KC Dog Runners for 5+ years. Lifesaver when my active Black Lab was still in the crazy stage. She's mellow now but still needs regular exercise, and when I work really long days it's great to know she is getting loving and exercise. She gets totally excited when Dee comes to walk her and she gets to walk with other members of the pack sometimes too, which is good for her socialization. I totally trust this service. Love seeing the notes when I get home and the occasional text picture. They've been very flexible with me when I need to change or add additional days. I worked with the owner of KC Dog Runners before he started his business and have used their services since inception. I have a large salt water aquarium and trust them with that system and access to my home. What I appreciate most is their conscientiousness - texting while I'm away about how things are going, as well as thinking about things outside of just what they are there to do (e.g.: bringing the garbage cans back inside) or alerting me if they observe something different inside the fish tank, etc. As long as I have known them, they have always been considerate and caring. read more

But I have been nothing but pleased with Jeff and his team; I know my dog is taken care of like one of their own! This is a great company. The dog walkers always leave a note so you know they were there and how the walk went with your dog. Jeff the owner comes to the house to meet you before they start and answer any questions, which is great. I always feel comfortable with the dog walkers in my home and have no issues. It's also very obvious that the walkers love dogs and my dogs are super happy every time they are walked.
