Keith and Jack Bright of KB Building and Supply may be the absolute worst builders in Montana. We contracted with them in January of 2024 to build a simple barn, and it is May 2025, and it is still not complete. They took my second payment for building materials, last May, 2024, and the contract stated that they were to order building materials, which they did not do. I know this because I forced their supplier, Simkins Hallin, to tell me whether he had ordered materials, and they verified he did not. It is HIGHLY recommended that you check with Keith's suppliers to verify he is ordering materials! It seems as if this company is "robbing Peter to pay Paul" as they say. Furthermore the building they did put up, is terrible looking, and already falling over, and may be a complete tear down. We are finding fraudulent business and building practices, and alongside other business and private owners, have initiated a fraud investigations against Keith and Jack Bright with multiple agencies including the Montana DOJ, and Montana FBI. This company does not value integrity. The owner, Keith lied to our faces multiple times. Promised to get sheds delivered for over 6 weeks, we would plow to clear a path for them the day they called to say they were going to be delivered and they wouldn't show up. Weeks later our tractor broke so we couldn't plow and it ended up in the delivery truck getting stuck and the shed being put far from where it should be. Found out that the original shed that was promised to be delivered was given to another unhappy client further delaying our shed. The sheds that were delivered do not match. The roofs are different colors and the wood frames do not match. If you're one of the 22 sheds he says is behind us RUN, don't walk, away from this guy. We've bought two buildings from KB a couple years ago, and both are perfect. Each was delivered on time, and positioned exactly as we wanted them. Both buildings have stood the test of time, and endured very harsh conditions. The price couldn't be beat, and we will definitely be buying from them again. read more

If you are considering using KB to build something for you. My advice is to run, run away as fast as you can. They will sell you a bill of goods and LIE to you about completion time, delivery time, repairs and everything else. They have no ETHICS. The owner Kieth will not take your calls and Sam, his right hand man will lie to your face. They promised me delivery in May of my cabin. Did not happen. Sam then promised June 10 or 13th, did not happen. When they finally said it was done, they had not built it to plans or as discussed and had to make major modifications and they still did not get it right. Delivery was August 2. I will reiterate, Run Run Run. Do not give them a dime. read more
