Thinking that he might want to be paid at the time of service and not bill me. If so I would have to be there so I asked "Do you want to be paid right away". He responded "You need to call someone else". I did and was scheduled for the next day.

Zach, the  repairman was wonderful!…read more I cannot emphasize how happy I am with his services! I have an elderly  aunt who lives in Wisconsin. She had an issue with our washer/dryer and didn't know how to fix it. I knew she had to get a handyman out there to fix it but she was really nervous to hire someone so I offered to help do research and find someone.   I called around to a few handyman places and after one call with the approachable appliances, I knew this was the place I had to go with. Zach was great on the phone and understood the situation completely. He quickly got us in the books and fixed the problem with my aunt's washer and dryer ASAP. Also, he was so trustworthy! I cannot emphasize being a female and having to deal with repairman/handyman, and always making sure I'm not going to get screwed over.  Zach was wonderful! He explained the problem very clearly and precisely on the phone to me and to my aunt in person, told us how he could fix it and then fix the problem! It was that simple! Now I'm happy that my aunt is happy with her working washer and dryer. I highly recommend approachable appliances! I will definitely be using them in the future to help out my aunt

We had our duct cleaned on Friday 3/4/2022. His pricing was a fixed amount per register and a set up fee. All very reasonable. The entire process took 3 hours and none of the dust came back into the house. Our house is 16 years old and according to Jean Paul this was the FIRST time the ducts were cleaned. He showed me the debris in our ducts. It was quite a bit. I would highly recommend Madison Area Duct Cleaning.

A little while back, we noticed that our furnace was not kicking on, and the temperature in the…read morehouse was dropping quickly, as it was below zero outside. Yay Wisconsin! We called a couple of places around and they told us we were out of luck for a few days, but Bethke's dispatch team was really accommodating and had a tech, Mike, at our house within less than two hours. Mike was extremely knowledgeable about the issue at hand and was able to fix it quickly. He also explained to me everything that he did, and I feel confident that I could do it myself now if it came down to it. He also gave me some helpful reminders about maintenance. I thought we were going to pay an arm and a leg, but the bill was the best part. Incredibly reasonable prices for lightning fast and thorough service. I would call these guys again in a heartbeat, and I think you should too.

Expensive service call yielded zero results. We have two CO detectors in our house, one upstairs,…read moreone in the basement. Both went off within seconds of each other just after I turned up the furnace in the morning. Bethke sends a tech out, I need to wait there and miss work, so that's not helping. Guy gets there, immediately makes up his mind that my detectors are faulty because they are old. Does a simple check for CO at the heat exchanger exhaust and the outlet into the ducts and comes up with a low CO reading. 20 mintues later, I'm $240 lighter with no real answer as to what happened. I checked my CO detectors later and they were working. So... I paid $240 for a half-assed, incomplete diagnostic by a monkey with a 5-gas analyzer. If I did that as an auto mechanic, I would be through. Do yourself a favor and call another company.
