I know that Carrie will make sure that they're not only fed and have clean litter boxes, but she also makes sure that they know that they haven't been abandoned. When we first contacted Carrie, we had only one cat, but she's a spicy Tortie girl who really only likes our immediate family. Carrie was patient and kind to her and understood how to make sure our kitty felt safe, but without stressing her out. It took her a year, but just recently, Carrie actually got to pet her! She also always send us photos while we travel, and my whole family looks forward to her texts! She's now watched our older cat as wells as our two newest kittens and it's still wonderful having her. Our feisty lady still gets her time with Carrie chasing treats and the babies enjoyed lots of playing. I can't recommend Rocket Kitty Sitting enough. Carrie is one of a kind and I'm so incredibly grateful to have her look after our kitties!!!

They all seemed happy and well when we returned. I must say I was half afraid to walk in the door as the last sitter left the litter, etc. all to be cleaned up the last day. Our home smelled all the way from the front door to the back door. We walked into a clean kitchen...no smelly mess...obviously things had been done systematically. What a relief! We will use Karen again. While she may fuss at you if things aren't up to her standards with your critters....she obviously loves pets...and that is what matters. Thanks! Good job.

When Karen''s been caring for them, we get almost the same reaction after being gone for two weeks as if we had been gone overnight. Karen is very professional and provided a quotation and contract up front, and she maintains communication well. We'll use her again.

When we needed to euthanize our sweet fur-baby on the Saturday after Christmas, we contacted Dr. Lorge, fully expecting to have to wait until Monday to have the service provided (after all, other than emergency hospitals, what veterinarians work on the weekend?). Dr. Lorge immediately agreed to come to our home to help us send our baby over the Rainbow Bridge. Words can't adequately describe the caring, dignified way in which she handled the situation. She was able to make what is the worst possible experience for a pet-parent into a more peaceful goodbye. We hope we don't need to call her any time soon for our other fur-baby, but because of Dr. Lorge, we know we will be more at peace when the time comes.

I would not in a million years take my pets here…read more I rescued a sweet dog (advertised by Maggie as The Long Way Home online) in June 2024. When I went to pick the dog up (at the boarding facility) she smelled as if she'd been kept in her own mess in an outdoor kennel. There is nothing "premium" about these facilities. It became very obvious after I took her to the vet that I wasn't told the truth about her age, medical conditions, potty and harness training ability. When I called to ask questions, Maggie got upset, claimed the dog was "perfect", tried to bully me into returning the dog, and has since refused to allow the dog's chip to be registered in my name, although that's standard procedure for reputable rescue organizations and is in the adoption contract. Do yourself and your pets a favor and avoid this business.
