So clean and calm I really enjoy the experience...ladies are all good technicians…read more Highly recommend

I drove here not realizing it was appointment only (which I clearly overlooked on the Yelp page, no…read morefault to the establishment themselves) My GPS initially took me to the back of their building. It took a little driving around to figure out how to enter the parking lot and parking spaces are a bit tight. After realizing my mistake, I logged onto their website through Yelp to check the booking process. I was relieved to find the booking platform was user-friendly, which allowed me to quickly book the first available appointment (Regular pedicure with French) they had for the afternoon (12:45 PM). Shortly after booking, I did receive a text message confirmation of my appointment. I decided to find somewhere to grab a bite to eat before returning for my appointment time. When I returned I was quickly checked in by their receptionist and brought back to the pedicure chairs. I was greeted nicely but the pedicurist didn't introduce herself so I can't confirm her name, but online it said my appointment was with Lissa. There was one client leaving when I arrived and another getting a manicure. The salon is very spacious and clean. A very strong citrus scent fills the building. Very light spa music played in the background throughout my visit. The TV plays videos of various island resort beaches. The gel polish removal process was very natural. No drill was used. From there she proceeded with my pedicure which was ok. She was very gentle in handling my feet and legs. I was a bit disappointed at the cold pedicure water and there were no jets or bubbles but maybe that's included with the higher priced pedicure options. This salon is DEAD SILENT lol like you can hear a pin drop in here. Very different than what I am use to. Lissa did a good job of cleaning the nail beds and achieving my desired length and shape. The outcome of the French was also just ok. I personally didn't really care for how thin the French on my big toes were but all other nails came out flawless. Their pedicure chairs are some of the most comfortable I've experienced. The massage is gentle and doesn't violently knead your back while the chairs themselves hug you like a glove. I don't know if I would return but I would definitely recommend to anyone who lives close by. Especially anyone very big on natural nail restoration. My total was $56.65 not including tip. My itemized bill was conveniently emailed to me within minutes of checking out.

One of the most unprofessional nail spas I've EVER been to. I was happy they could get 2 of us in…read morewithout much notice, but looking back, we would've been better off just not getting our nails done. To start off with, every single color I picked was "unavailable"-same for the person I was with. Had to pick 5 colors each for our hands, before they found one they had; and did not have any "matching" colors for our feet. I've never been anywhere with so few colors available. The staff was yelling to each other the ENTIRE time, over clients, from table to table, about their personal lives. They were at one point ordering pizza and eating in front of everyone, running to the back to grab more food while you washed your hands for 0.02 seconds. They were pretty rude to other customers at the spa- I watched one girl come in 5 minutes late, and they argued in front of her if they'd have time to do her nails. They all fought with each other about who would actually do her toes and her fingernails, as no one wanted to. One lady offered to stay late to finish them, and was told no, she was late to her appt so too bad. All of this at volume 50, in front of her- way to make her (and all of us) feel awkward. Just very, very unprofessional- I don't know how else to explain it. I told my technician the entire time she was doing my feet that she was hurting me (making my cuticles bleed), and was told "well the instrument is sharp". She was very distracted the entire time during my pedicure. Very painful. Service was slowwwww, prepare to spend hours there. When my technician went to scan my credit card, her phone died (after taking 10 minutes to set up the payment). All of a sudden the owner came over, and entered it on her phone- which was now a higher price!!! I was so frustrated, I paid it and left (of course, they "didn't know why it was higher the second time", when I inquired). I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Looking back, I'm hoping everyone there has a license to do nails, as no licenses are displayed on the walls. Save yourself the time and money, go to ANY other nail salon in the area. Don't know how this salon has been around as long as it has, what a joke. EDIT UPDATE- Business owner denying any of this true, and that's ok. I have no reason to make up having limited gel colors, eating pizza in front of everyone, and being unprofessional. Look at my Yelp history, plenty of reviews, for several years. You'll notice most of the people leaving "positive" reviews on this account have NO prior Yelp reviews (they are her friends or family). Disappointing when a business can't even hold themselves accountable.

When my nail tech at another salon that I used for many years quit, I was sure that I would never find anyone as good as he was. My mom, sister and daughter also went to him for many years. I am VERY picky with my nails. I don't like them too thick and honestly, 99% of the nail techs who have done my nails were not amazing. I started reading reviews for local nail salons and came across the 5 star reviews for Sylvia's Nail Salon. I made an appointment for dip powder and was given Daniani. At first I was skeptical because she is so young, but I can say that after she finished my nails, she is DEFINITELY the best nail technician I have ever had. Now my whole (also very picky) family uses her as well and everyone is very happy!

I've been getting NexGen for 14 years. Since September 22, I've gone to Nail Bar four times because my nails kept splitting at the sides, near the skin. Queen repaired them, but it happened again. On Tuesday, I went back to show the manager. She apologized and offered to fix the split nails. I declined and requested a fresh manicure, and was sent to another tech, Eva. I lost four of my nails because of the previous poor manicure. I was told Queen filed my nails too thin and didn't apply enough coats, which caused them to split. Eva, while doing my nails, told me they were too long and that I had to pay extra for the length or cut them down. I was never told in the past that I had long nails until Tuesday, when I refused to cut them down. I ended up getting gel nails based on Eva's recommendation. It was the first time I heard that gel is better than NexGen. I requested cat-eye, which I often wear, and I knew it would cost more. Eva didn't seem too happy and said she could have done two people in the time she spent on my nails. It took two hours to do my nails; I tipped her $20 and was charged $80. The manager told me she had deducted $15; otherwise, I would have needed to pay $95. It was a bad experience, and I was upset about losing my nails after going several times since September 22. Not only will I not go back, but neither will my daughter or two of my neighbors.
