Vow renewal ceremony at shipwreck beach surrounded by sea turtles
    Nathan A.

Pastor Harold was awesome!!!! As a surprise to my wife I planned a vow renewal and he helped me keep it a secret. we were overlooking shipwreck beach with dozens of sea turtles swimming beneath us and I re- proposed to my wife and we started the ceremony! It was truly unique and just perfect!! Thank you pastor Harold for helping me plan and pull of this amazing surprise for my wife!!!

    The conch shell

We adore Harold! He renewed our vows 3 years ago, so when my daughter decided to get married in Kauai she wanted us to call him immediately. Once again he did a fabulous job. I love the blowing of the conch shell. The ceremony was so different and was everything my daughter wanted. He adds humor and romance for everyone to enjoy. I would definitely recommend him for any future events.

Renewed vows on ship wreak beach Kauai Hawaii
    John C.

Just returned from Kauai where my wife and I renewed our wedding vows after 25 years, I contacted pastor Harold months before our Oct 2nd anniversary. He responded very quickly and handled everything from bringing the lei's, picking the beautiful location at Shipwreck beach to providing someone to shoot photos. He was the sweetest and kind man I have met, he truly LOVES what he does. He made us feel very special on our special day with his heart felt words and traditional Hawaiian blessings, Thanks again Pastor,

Greg and Connie from AZ with Pastor Kilborn. He was so good and It was so very nice on the beach in Kauai renewing our wedding vows.

In July of 2015 Connie and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary and renewed or wedding vows on the beach of Kauai. It was so awesome as the waves were right next to us. What made it very very special was Pastor Harold Kilborn of Koloa. He has a great sense of humor. He made it so special with the heart felt words he spoke which are still so very meaningful to us. Our daughter and son-in-law were there to share with us and recorded every precious moment on video. Tears run down our cheeks every time we view it. We broke bread with the Pastor and his wonderful wife after the ceremony. I doesn't get any better than this....we feel so blessed to have discovered Pastor Kilborn. Aloha....Greg & Connie from AZ

    Poipu beach ,sunset, sand ceremony

Wow! that's all we can say! there was 4 of us celebrating 40 and 50 years marriage,Minister Kilborn was there all the way, making our Hawaiian vacation ,sunset beach wedding complete. We also found that in Kauai, the Hawaiian Minister is well known and highly regarded, this information coming from the random meetings of townspeople, shop owners and restaurant workers. He is such a laid back, sincere ,kind person. the kind of person you can and feel right at ease, knowing he`s got you covered. I mean, way beyond our expectations! We have gained a friend and through conversation, we learned he occasionally comes to the states. Minister Kilborn, like we spoke, if ever in New Mexico again, you have a place at our home in Albuquerque any time! Mahalo! Tom, Sharon, Robert and Denise

Pastor Harold did an amazing Vow renewal for us. His conch blowing and Hawaiian/English ceremony was beautiful.

The ceremony was very much about us as a couple and remembering to always be able to come back to this defining moment to face life's challenges together. It was a very unique experience that we will always hold close to our hearts. Our day wouldn't have been the same without him. He explained what his ceremonies are like so we could be sure he was the right choice for us. We appreciated him taking the time to get to know us to make the ceremony more personal. I was told throughout the planning, leading up to the moment that we were married, how relaxed I was and such an easy-going bride. Part of that was because I had her as our minister. Planning a wedding when you aren't there, can be daunting... but that is where Ms. Kube comes in. Granted it was a small ceremony with only 7 of us total, but there are beach permits to file for, flowers, etc that needed to be done. I first contacted Christine about 8 months before the wedding and I knew immediately that she was going to make this a breeze. We used one of her packages that includes a photographer (Images by Liz) and I would recommend budgeting for this cost. The package is affordable and you are going to be in paradise so you will want to document it. The basic package includes lei for you and your partner, a champagne/cider toast, beach permit, and minister; but you can add to that by including a cake, a musician, hair/make up.. etc. She was able to answer any and all questions I had about Kauai whether it was regarding the wedding or if she knew of the best food truck in Koloa (it is Kauai Food Truck btw). There are 3 ceremonies to choose from; so if you are religious or not at all, or prefer something more Hawaiian, she has them. We were married at Shipwreck Beach at mid-morning (a great time as it was still deserted somewhat), and it was actually a warm day. The ceremony was short and sweet (15 min tops) and then the photographer takes over for the next 45min-1hr.

They gave us a lot of options were added photos and were very welcoming towards our family and even took some family photos which we will treasure forever. For her ceremony she did a traditional ring blessing which I would very much recommend. She was so kind and warm I would urge you to reach out to her if you're even considering an elopement inquiry or a small wedding as we did. It was so stressful and I don't know what I would have done without Jessica. I called her and explained what happened and that we would not be able to get a flight until the next day ( Sunday, our planned wedding day). She made a miracle happen and was able to move our wedding from Sunday to Monday: flowers, cake, videographer, photographer, officiant, wedding coordinator and all! I couldn't believe it and was so grateful to not have to go from the airport straight to our wedding! The vendors that she works with were exceptional. The flowers were better than I could have imagined. The cake was delicious. Our pictures and video were perfect. Our officiant was wonderful. I wanted to upgrade my bouquet, and my husbands lei, also got leis for guests. I added flowers for my hair pretty close to last minute, I sent her pinterest ideas that I loved and got exactly what I wanted. Seriously, my bouquet could not have been any more beautiful. We chose Harneet for our photographer, so far we have our sneak peek of photos and love them all. I can't wait to see the rest. Kahu Chuck was our officiant and he made our ceremony very Hawaiian, which is exactly what we wanted. Meghan did my hair and makeup and I felt so beautiful. She did an amazing job, exactly what I wanted and I really didn't want to wash it off. My hair stayed perfectly, even with the heavy flower comb in my thin hair, how she did that i'll never know. The day of I emailed Jessica with a request for 2 chairs, we had 2 guests over 70 that we wanted to make sure had a place to sit, she arranged that and Harneet brought them from the north side with him. It never crossed my mind previous that we would want any chairs. He also had umbrellas in case it rained, but the sun was out and the wind died down. After all was said and done, we had the best day. We basically showed up and it was all taken care of. If you are looking for a wedding planner, this is the group you want to go with. Honestly, if I ever got to do it again, we'd use Jessica, she's very professional and great at what she does. Initially, Ron was great at returning calls and emails, and being very professional. He sent confirmation emails regarding our phone conversations. During our first conversations and emails, he told me that his wife Suzanne would be contacting us regarding the details of our ceremony. As the time of our ceremony grew closer, I called Ron again and asked when we would be able to speak with Suzanne regarding the details of our ceremony. We never got to talk to Suzanne, Ron went through the details with us, which seemed a little odd as he wasn't the officiant. We payed the rest of the amount, almost $1000 (which we should not have done until we actually had the ceremony). Ron told us he would send us another confirmation email regarding what we had paid for, details of ceremony, etc. We never received a confirmation email. I emailed several times with no response, my now husband called several times ending in a disconnected phone number. I started to feel very uneasy about the whole situation, and as a bride under pressure the last thing needed was to have no communication with our would be officiant and photographer! I looked them up with the Better Business Bureau, and found out that there have already been 2 complaints in the last 3 years for lack of goods/services. I left like we've been taken for our money. Eventually, my now husband was able to find a number and speak with Ron. At that point, I did not feel comfortable using their services any longer and decided to cancel about 2 and a half weeks prior to our ceremony date. Again, Ron over the phone stated that he would send another confirmation email for a wedding cancellation, it was not sent for 4 more days. We were able to find a wonderful officiant and photographer at last minute who were very professional and on top of everything for less than what Ron and Suzanne were offering. Ron stated that he will not be refunding the deposit due to all the work that was put into our ceremony already- I was able to find out that in fact 10 days before the ceremony, the beach was not even reserved yet for us, so I'm not quite sure what sort of preparations they have been doing for us- no beach reservation, no actual talk with the true officiant....I gave them 2 weeks to re-credit my credit card before sending them another email asking for our refund back. I was told by Ron, that 2 weeks is not enough time, and that in fact 30 days is the norm. That also seemed very fishy to me I don't know if Ron and Suzanne would have been good during the ceremony; however, I was unwilling to find out based upon their lack of punctuality in paperwork, poor communication and at times lack of communication. Previous reviews also stated that they were not given their pictures either- that's a chance I was unwilling to take.

Jana the videographer was helpful in getting us organized on site after the whole location change (and change back) confusion. The microphones she brought did not work, so our minister Harold had to go get a hand-held mic from his car which made for awkward exchanging of vows b/c he kept forgetting to put the mic in front of us to speak for the video. There was more confusion with Harold who asked us on-site which ceremony we wanted to do (we were not aware we needed to choose one of four options beforehand so were forced to choose randomly, even after I had tried contacted him a few times in the weeks before with no response back from him)...also the ukulele player needed to know the order of our songs beforehand which I hadn't even talked to Brian about, so that was another question I had to answer on-site right before I was walking down the "aisle". Harold also specifically confirmed our names when he arrived, only then to call Brian "David" during the ceremony and mispronounced my name several times before forgetting the day's date (he said November 20th when it was Nov 22nd). Brian and I are a very laid-back couple, so we were able to laugh about all these blunders afterwards...but I'm not sure another bride and groom would respond as well and I honestly don't think I would recommend your company to anyone else looking for help with their wedding and/or elopement.
