During my initial consultation, some of my questions were left unanswered, even though I was concerned about my tooth. After the extraction, my follow-up appointment felt extremely rushed. He walked in, asked me to open my mouth, quickly said, "Everything looks good," handed me a syringe for rinsing, and was ready to leave. I had to stop him to ask a question, which he answered in about five words before turning to leave again. I asked another, and he did the same. By my third question, it was clear he was in a hurry to move on. Come on, Doc--I spent $700-$800 on this procedure. Can't you spare five minutes to properly address your patient's concerns? At the very least, ask if we have any other questions before rushing out. The entire follow-up lasted barely two minutes. That being said, the tooth extraction itself went well, and my healing process was smooth. Plus, his office staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

Clinically, Dr. Jason Hullett seems competent if a bit detached and uninterested in aftercare…read more However, the business office has left much to be desired. I have never heard such a litany of excuses regarding the reimbursement process for covered procedures: the insurance company has not sent the check to their office yet, the mail is at the other office, the dr. has taken the mail to their home, the EOB has been adjusted, the EOB is not yet posted in their dashboard. Moreover, Marilou (sp?) is just plain unpleasant and unhelpful. We, the parents, have both tried to reason with her on the phone and she has yet to let us finish a sentence without cutting us off. If I could have done this over again, I would have chosen a different office. It's such a headache dealing with them.

When having my second implant done, Dr Kim incorrectly inserted my IV causing pain all down my arm and keeping me from going to sleep. When I tried to alert him to this he told me to "shut up" or I would "ruin his good work." leaving me awake and in pain for the remainder of the procedure. The only saving grace was the nurse who put the gas mask on me every chance she got, leading to me telling myself I was just a car at the mechanic so the drilling into my face was standard procedure. I am still traumatised by this experience, leaving me shaking and crying for even the most basic dental cleanings. I have sat on this review of his horrible bedside manor wanting to believe he had at least been successful with a difficult case of an implant but now that I am having to spend time, money, and revisit trauma to have it removed it is more clear than ever Dr Kim cares more about his ego than his patients. DO. NOT. RECOMMEND.

I'm so glad I ended up hunting down Dr. Iero. I wasn't referred to him by my regular dentist…read morebecause my regular dentist wanted to do the extraction but I wasn't comfortable with that so I started looking for an oral surgeon specifically. I was diagnosed with a cracked tooth which caused an infection and extraction of the tooth was going to be the best option. During my consult the office did a really cool scan/xray thing and actually ended up being diagnosed without anyone ever even looking in my mouth which I thought was super cool. The office is also nice and clean which got huge bonus points from me since I can be really sensitive to smells. The extraction took like 20 minutes total and I'm not going to say it was a walk in the park because- someone ripped my tooth out of my face but it actually was painless. Even the shots were so magically well done. One of the nurses/assistants (IDK what they are) told me at the start that she was going to put numbing agent where he would do the shots and just never came back so he did the shots without them and I literally couldn't feel them. I had just had a filling the week before and it felt like the dentist was shooting acid in my face so for Dr. Iero to be able to give me a shot IN THE ROOF OF MY MOUTH without any real discomfort was pretty impressive to me. He also walked me through what he was doing and explained what might happen. When my cap broke off I didn't panic because the doc had given me a heads up. And at the end they gave me a care package of things that I didn't even think to need. If I can give any advice to anyone seeing Dr. Iero though it would be- absolutely do not be late. On the day of the procedure Houston got some heavy rain and drivers were freaking out as they do so while I allowed myself 20 minutes of travel time for the 10 minute drive, I ended up being late and the doc was SUPER obvious about his annoyance. He wasn't angry as much as like disappointed parent mode and he mentioned it not once but twice. I also hate people who are late and I hate being late so I totally understood the annoyance but just allow yourself the extra time. I would still recommend him 10 out of 10 times because of how well he did. If you're that skilled you can be particular- those are the rules lol all in all this was a very positive experience given that i lost a tooth. I'll see him again in a few months for the rest of the process and if (god forbid) I have to get another extraction I will 100% come back to Bellaire facial, oral, and dental implant surgery.

Absolutely the top quality care & patient experience anywhere! I cannot more highly recommend this…read moredental practice from start to finish. Every interaction, from phone to reception, to scheduling, reminders, ease of access, free parking, processing intake was efficient & superlative!! BEST of all: Dr Iero was affable, brilliant, skilled, speedy, VERY solicitous of patient convenience & ease, PLUS ensured a PAINLESS procedure. Do not be nervous about entrusting Dr. Iero with your dental surgery!! His personal follow-up call to check-in how you're recovering is absolutely PERFECT! I didn't want to leave, but to stay there with such marvelous people! Even the background music & hearing Dr. Iero share accounts of his life are wonderful. Kudos to all members of this Team!!

But, suffice it to say, I had been in awful pain for over a month while two other dentists attempted to identify and fix the problem; so I was not the happiest of campers! But after meeting with Dr. Lopez, my deepest intuition told me he was the only one I would trust to help me out of my predicament. Due to my situation, there were many days of after-care which took place in the office. Each day I was there, Dr. Lopez was so kind and helpful, and during each step of the treatment, applied his vast knowledge in a wise and calm, reassuring manner. The ladies who assisted him were amazing... so kind without fail -- and obviously extremely capable in their field... they were like Dental Angels :-) ! I feel my case was handled by everyone there in the most positive and beneficial way, and because of Dr. Lopez, I soon believed I would be ready to leave on a 3-week vacation without any major problems. Dr. Lopez is also Medical Doctor, a Pharmacist, as well as an Oral Surgeon! If you have to undergo some kind of oral surgery, or something else, go to him -- I believe you will be so relieved that you did!

However, after meeting Dr. Lopez and talking to him he put all my concerns to rest. His bedside manners are second to none. After my consolidation, the ladies in the office called before my surgery to check in with me, to review my procedure again and make sure I didn't have any additional questions. The day of the surgery Dr. Lopez did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable. He came out behind the receptionist desk when I was in the waiting room and asked if I was ready and starting making jokes. He knew that I was terrified of needles like a little kid so he made me completely forget about the needle. I mentioned that laying back helps me when it comes to needles, so before he started the IV he reclined my seat all the way back in a full relax mood, he had one of his assistants hold my hand. (Don't laugh - I have a sever issue with needles) After the surgery no pain, no extra bleeding. I seriously was up Friday like nothing had happen - other then a small amount of swelling. My only suggestion is never ask someone who had their wisdom teeth pulled 30 years ago about the process, they will all give you horror stories.

My wife and I have both been seeing him for eighteen years, and in every single instance been delighted with his conscientious attention to detail and, during the Covid era, adherence to standard medical protocols. While a small, fourth generation(!) dentist and proprietor, he keeps up with advances in dentistry, as evidenced by my visit today, where an obviously new state of the art X-ray machine took a full complement of detailed pictures in less than a minute. In an emergency situation when a filling came out he squeezed me in that day, but what I most admire is the many times he has recommended a less expensive and safer option over large oral surgery because that was the right thing to do -- not the most remunerative. Over the years we've recommended him to a few friends looking for a new dentist and every one of them later thanked us wholeheartedly. You won't be disappointed either. Only caveats are his fandom of CW music and a political stance much to the right of what my family calls our "fuzzy headed" liberalism. But we meet in the center with admiration for the ethics and values of dedicated, hard work.

BEWARE - I should have read reviews before booking an appointment here because they wasted my time…read more I booked a 9:00am appointment on a weekday, and as a new patient, I arrived 15 minutes early. I sat in the waiting room from 8:45am to 10:20am. I did the routine x-rays and then the teeth whitening molds/trays that they apparently do for free. At this point, they were running so incredibly late that I received a confirmation text confirming that my 9:00am appointment was rebooked to 10:45am. When the hygienist finally arrived for my cleaning, the entire process took less than 5 minutes for cleaning and fluoride. My teeth felt noticeably less clean than any other routine dentist visit I've had in the past. Apparently, they don't have their primary dentist check the hygienists' work afterward, so quality control is clearly NO a matter of importance since this is a standard practice. I had a work meeting and had to leave just after 11:00am even though I requested the primary dentist to check my teeth. I requested a follow up appointment for the following week. Fast forward to my follow-up appointment today that I booked for 8:00am and I wasn't seen until 8:20. A dentist poked around my mouth and said my teeth were fine, and sent me away at 8:25am.
