I was very disappointed with their service. I made an appointment with David, the landscape designer from Katonah Nursery. When David missed the appointment, I just thought it was a busy time (spring) Little did I know it was a sign of things to come. David came (late) and looked at our property, said he'd send sketches and left. After 2-1/2 weeks and no sketches, I called the nursery and asked for David. I heard him say in the background that he'd send me a plan. I never heard from him. Very poor service. I'd never recommend this business. read more

I wanted to re-landscape the front of my house. The representative came over to look and said that he would get back to me with sketches and a price. Despite me calling several times I never received anything. Also, when I do go there, I do not appreciate the workers constantly talking about politics. It's unprofessional and inappropriate. I think I'll buy my plants someplace where I don't have to listen to that. read more

I've been using Katonah Nursery since we bought our home. Sometimes to buy a few plants or many, we've made special tree purchases such as ornamental red buds and magnolias, and most recently a larger project- our front yard landscaping. No matter how small or large the job, they are available and helpful! At times the nursery is very busy and you have to wait your turn, but this is to be expected because of the attentive nature of the staff. David is my "go to" person at Katonah Nursery. He advice leaves me feeling well informed and confident in every purchase that I make. Most recently we worked together landscaping our home after a year long construction project. The experience was beyond amazing for us. I had a vision that changed a bit, but with David's guidance and listening to what I wanted, what worked in the spaces and what didn't; our home was transformed from dirt to a dreamy garden. I was recommended by a friend to come here to get my trees, shrubs and plants for my yard overhaul. They had the most beautiful trees, very healthy boxwoods and other shrubs, beautiful flowers too, and they were patient and attentive to what I needed. Joe was very knowledgeable about when to plant certain things and how to preserve the life of what I bought. The best and biggest selection out of every nursery I've been to. This is a long overdue review. I've been getting my plants, annuals, perennials etc. from here for several years. Each selection has been reasonably priced and most importantly-- has thrived and continues to do so. Every member of my family has received plants from KN as gifts and has had them installed in their home gardens. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to get that phone call each Spring from the thrilled recipients informing me that the plant I gave them is in full bloom yet again. Completely exceeded my expectations! I have no knowledge of plants and had no vision for what I wanted my front yard to look like. Katonah Nursery came as a recommendation from several people. Joe came to my home and instantly had a vision for what should be done. He led me through the nursery and pointed out all the trees and flowers he thought would be the most suitable. My experience with them was not good. I went there a week before Mother's Day. My wife wanted a Lilac Bush and we needed a Pine Tree removed in our front yard and replaced. I spoke to a guy named David who seemed disinterested in helping me. Only after I pressed him, he showed me some Pines and Lilacs. He told me he needed my address to assess what would work in my front yard. He took my address and telephone number and he never called me. I called three times and spoke to a guy who promised David would get back to me. Never heard back. What a disgrace. Zero customer service. read more

I have had Katonah Nursery work on my garden and plant many trees and bushes over the last 18 years. I also have them spray my property each year to prevent the deer from eating all my plants! I have worked with just about everyone at the nursery and they are all great! Katonah has been very attentive and I believe their prices are fair and the quality of their plants wonderful! Katonah has always replaced trees that have died within the first year as they promise! I also think that they are very polite and courteous and a wonderful family business! I had them plant three Norway Spruce with a one year guarantee. One plant was sick and has never thrived. I asked them to replace it within a year and they refused. These are dishonest people. The tree is still alive but stunted and way behind the others. read more
