Nestled among Sedona's iconic red rocks, the views are absolutely stunning, and there's something incredibly peaceful and sacred about being here. It truly feels like one of the holiest places in Arizona. The chapel itself is small but warm and welcoming, making the experience feel even more intimate. The adorable gift shop is another favorite of mine! It brings back so much nostalgia from my Catholic school field trips growing up. Another wonderful touch is the volunteers who drive golf carts up and down the hill, helping visitors get to and from the chapel if they aren't able to find parking near the top. It's such a thoughtful service, especially for those who may have difficulty with the uphill walk! This is one of those special places I find myself returning to whenever I'm in Sedona. Whether you're visiting for your faith, the architecture, or simply the incredible scenery, it's an experience you won't forget. Truly a must-see!

**July 2026: Wednesday Early Afternoon Visit**…read more I was looking for a beautiful vantage point to admire Sedona's scenery without having to do much hiking and this spot came up in my research as the perfect fit! My friend and I were able to find parking in the lot and walk right up to the top! The chapel itself is very small and probably only fits about 30 people for service, but the gift shop underneath was much larger than I expected. What stood out most to me was the incredible scenery all around: the red rocks, blue sky, and sweeping valley views made it such a memorable place and there were photo-worthy views in almost every direction. The best part was definitely the view outside, since the mountains looked absolutely incredible.

I knew most of the songs. I was also happy that the lyrics were displayed so we could follow along precisely. The worship team played a gospel song at the end of the service. The singers have lovely voices. The pastor is a very authentic, Bible-based individual. The message was especially touching. The message was also clear about a foundational issue. I have no doubt we have a loving God and Father who understands our nature and forgives us. Simple yet profound. I know that we will experience such a good, careful message in the future too. The service followed the Bible very closely and I am happy that this church is so Bible based. The congregants were friendly yet reserved.
