Unfortunately, my experience here was not as stellar as the reviews rave about it. I ordered the chicken momos and found them to not be fully cooked through. My birth mother got the same thing as me and hers turned out okay, but I still wasn't thrilled with the product. When I had returned to ask for them to be cooked more thoroughly, the gentleman who had prepared them was gone. Overall, I think people really like this place, but clearly I wasn't on the same page as everyone else. The only redeeming quality I found was the rice was flavorful that I ate off my birth mom's plate. Ugh. read more

What a great place. They have vegan options. All of their sides are vegan. The vegan Mo Mo's are awesome. Mo Mo's are dumplings. They have several other options as well. Delicious momo/ dumplings! All three varieties (chicken, beef, veggies) are very flavorful! Eat them whole so you don't lose the juice inside. The fried rice side was ok...just tasted like a bunch of saffron oil. The spicy potato side, what a punch of flavor! I love garlic, but good night, that was garlic-y! And very spicy. While I enjoyed the ONE BITE I had of them yesterday, I still have heartburn from it. lol While getting the 6 piece momo and one side doesn't look like much, it filled me up for sure. read more

I love Nepalese momos so I definitely had to try this place while visiting Little Rock. While I appreciate the variety and value, the meal was underwhelming. The veggie momos were lukewarm and tasted old. The two sides were turmeric fried rice which was a bit oily and the aloo dum (potatoes) was ice cold. It was a busy as afternoon at the River Market so I didn't complain to the staff, but maybe I should have said something. I'd try it as again since I love momos, but perhaps at their Conway location. read more

This place is incredibly awesome! Traveling through from Louisiana we found this place and had to stop. We had the order of 6 veggie momos and got the side of aloo dum (spicy potatoes), which were probably my favorite thing. This place is hard to find though. It's located on the river by the river market even though the map on Yelp says otherwise. Do not go to that location. It's wrong. Call before going to make sure the location but it's worth finding. My wife and I found this food truck at Stones Throw brewery last Sunday night. We passed it on the way in and soon became excited whenever we saw that they were offering momo. Our only problem was that we weren't too hungry as we had eaten just a few hours prior. However, we still wanted to give it a try and so my wife and I split 6 chicken momo and chose the spring rolls and spicy potatoes as our sides. I also asked for both a spicy dipping sauce as well as a normal one. After ordering I proceeded back into the bar to sit with my wife. It took quite a while for our food to get to us (probably around 1/2 hour) and the owner apologized to us whenever he delivered it. The food was worth the wait though as it was all delicious. The momo had a good amount of filling to them and were tasty. I especially liked dipping it into the spicy sauce which really had some kick to it. The spring rolls were decent tasting and had a nice crispy exterior. Last but not least were the spicy potatoes which may have been my favorite part of the meal. They had some great flavor to them and just a little bit of heat which I really enjoyed. The bottom line for me is that I would head back to Katmandu Momo again in the future. I love the idea of selling momo out of a food truck and think that the food was really good too! read more

Hold the phone. Hold. The. Phone. Oh. My. Dumplings! Months back this truck was at an event and I don't think I was able to get enough of these tiny steamed pockets of delicious. I got an order of chicken dumplings----which were possibly the most satisfying dumpling I have ever had. The combination of garlic, spice, and I believe some sort of coriander seasoning just made the tender mince meat chicken something addictive. My son helped me eat the first batch, and we just needed more. So, we tried the beef. Same reaction of glory. I think we have have eaten twenty dumplings, and I felt the need---THE NEED, PEOPLE---to take some home. I'm craving these delicious pillows right now as I mark up this review, they had mentioned about moving up to a full restaurant soon, I simply cannot wait so that I can have all the dumplings! UPDATE: Went to their location in The River Market, still the same awesome people and food, I went to heaven with the Potatoes Aloo, and the fried rice is not your typical fried rice! It's not dried out and old, packed full of flavor! The Aloo is curried and heavy on the heat, but still retains the delicate potato flavor! The wife (I think) informed me that they plan to make their menu larger (and guys they are open until 6, great for dinner---it reheats well because it is THAT fresh)! read more

I'd always heard about this place, but I had never tried it. When in the River Market, no? I ordered the 8 momo and one side option. The lady who was working informed me that I was allowed to have different kinds of dumplings in the eight, so I chose four chicken and four veggie. The dumplings came out steaming hot and were delicious. I got The Aloo Dum potato salad as my side, and it was just right. The service and food were both excellent, and I will be back the next time I happen to find myself back down that way. read more

I'd been hoping to try this food truck for awhile, and therefore was happy to see they setup at the Good Earth Garden Center off Cantrell. Although they don't offer a huge selection (which isn't needed, as their name implies momos/dumplings...and obviously space is limited in a truck), yet the momos were great. I tried the chicken momos and spicy potatoes. All were spicy (in a great way) and filling. The people were also very friendly and efficient. read more

After finding the Katmandu Mo Mo food truck me and my wife are totally spoiled for other dumplings. We are vegetarian and they offer amazing vegan dumplings. They don't taste like anything we have ever tried before. From there dumplings to there potatoes and rice. OMG the sauces! You have to hunt down there truck and give them a try. Love the momos (Nepalese dumplings) that Katmandu MoMo cooks. I would recommend getting the eight piece combo with the aloo dum (spicy potatoes) with extra spicy sauce. As for the type of momos, there are basically no wrong choices but my personal preference are the veggies and the beef. The only complaint is that the momos are really oily. read more

Tried this at Friday food truck at Main at n Capitol ave. I really enjoyed the momos. Had the chicken and tasted really good. Sauces were flavorful and the rice was good. Only thing was the long wait line and long wait time to get the food. Esp if it's on a lunch break, just ordering already took up most of lunch break. Just wondering why when the momos should be already steamed, minimal prep. Also the veggie momos were not available as well as the spicy potato side. If the service was a little better, that would have gained another star rating. read more

YUM! Tried this for the first time at Westover Food Truck night. Food was delicious. Tried the momo sampler of beef, chicken and veggie dumplings and all were so yummy.
