First, Katie is a nice lady and does quality work. I recently took some pants to be hemmed and cuffed, specifically stating I wanted no break. When I tried them on, they were too long and pooled on my shoes. I measured the pants against another pair and confirmed, yes ... they were too long. When I returned to have the tweaked, the person at the counter refused. I offered to pay. She refused and said to take my business elsewhere. I will. I have had two dresses done by Katie now and I cannot even begin to tell you what a lifesaver she is. I am pregnant in my third trimester and have to be a bridesmaid in a wedding this weekend - so I was panicked about how to guess what size I'd be when I dropped the dress off. I'm not sure how she managed it but my dress fits perfectly - and I've definitely grown since measurements! The price was more than fair, especially for what I asked of her. Took a small linen sundress here to be hemmed not even two inches that I needed in a week. After the measurements were taken to hem the dress (which took less than five minutes) I was told it would be SEVENTY DOLLARS. Mr. hem downtown used to charge $20. Was then told I could go find someone else and she was lucky she was fitting me in. Absolute rip off read more

i just had a horrible experience. She didn't want to hem my dress and once I put it on she told me it would cost $90 to hem it. Just to hem the dress, nothing else. Terrible customer service and they clearly didn't want my business or referral. Just pitiful. read more

Called the first time and asked if I needed an appointment due to Covid cause I didn't see anything online, they hung up as a response. Called again 10 seconds later and they didn't answer the phone. Literally only needed a small seam sewn back together after tearing, but I guess not. The service once you get there may be fantastic and good work with clothing, but I kinda need to be able to talk to them first. read more

Extremely disappointed. They hemmed my bridesmaids dress for a wedding. They did a very poor job with it being hemmed uneven and cut too short. They charged me full price of $60. I ended up having to order another dress because it looked so bad and was too short even with flats on my feet. When I tried to kindly speak to them about my dissatisfaction they wouldn't accept any responsibility. Finally they said they would accept $10 off so charged me $50. That's unacceptable and really such poor customer service. They basically did not care. I hope the new dress ordered arrives in time for the wedding. If not, this dress will be embarrassing. I do not recommend using these ladies at all. And if there's an issues, just forget that they'll care I'm going to spread the word due to my not wanting anyone else in this unfortunate situation. read more

Amazing! I love Katie! I took my gown in to her and she had me try it on and pinned it where it needed hemmed. She is so sweet and funny. I can tell she knows what she's doing. Has done plenty of the Auburn sports teams uniforms. She also makes sure she gets to know you. We only go to Miss Katie to get any alteration needs done!!!! read more

Super nice ladies and very clean shop. Added elastic to a waistband. A little hard to find but well worth it.

Brought a dress in to be taken in at the chest. Tried on the dress in the shop and showed her exactly what I wanted, and we agreed on a price for the job done. I told her I would need it by Friday, and she told me to pick it up on Thursday before she closes, in which I told her I could get it then, but will be rushing to work so I would not have time to try it on. When I picked up the dress, I had ten minutes to try on the dress and the bust area was still huge and gaping off of my chest. She told me she could tack it quickly since this was the latest I could pick up the dress. After going home, I tried the dress on again and it was as if the "tacking" did not help at all. I had to finish taking in the dress on my own time. When I called back to tell her how she did not complete the full alteration that I asked for, she would not stop interrupting me and eventually did not like what I had to say, so she hung up. Went into to get a pair of jeans tapered and the woman there told me she couldn't do that and to come back when I had something less complicated. She was very nice, but i was under the impression that tapering was fairly easy. read more

My experience was wonderful! I came in last-minute with a friend the week before a sorority formal and she was able to to have both of our alterations done a day early (including sewing on a new zipper because mine got stuck when I tried it on)!
