My wife and I met Mark Jennings while randomly touring Open Houses in The Grand, Surprise, AZ this…read morepast December 2025. We had been looking at houses in The Grand for several years, including wintering in AZ a couple of times. Just hadn't made the move to purchase. We hit it off with Mark immediately; finding him open, honest and witty with an infectious laugh. Most important to us, he was laid back and not pushy. We weren't looking for an agent that day. In a discussion later we decided if we were ever going to buy a property he was our guy! Every agent asks if we are represented when looking at a house and as soon as we say no they are all over us...not Mark. He was great!! Just chill about it. Fast forward to end of January 2026, we had decided it was indeed time to finally make a move to purchase in The Grand. We contacted Mark and he immediately asked about our home priorities in order of importance. He then lined up plenty of showings. We looked at approximately 15-20 properties over a couple of days time that fit our needs. He nailed the properties making it difficult to choose our favorite. We missed on one property, but our original fav had a price reduction and then included the furniture to seal the deal. That's when he kicked it into gear! Mark's communication during the home buying process was spot on. He anticipated the process and kept us up to date on what was happening and could happen. He was patient explaining the various forms we needed to fill out. His experience as "The Real Estate Guy" proved to be accurate and beneficial. His list of professionals he works with made the inspection and selling process as easy as is possible. Most importantly he has helped us to understand Arizona summers and went to our new house a couple of times to check on things we forgot or missed in the shut down process as we live in Wisconsin in the summer. To top it off he escorted us around The Grand showing us all the amenities. Then we went and had beverages. At this point I consider Mark a friend and would recommend him to anyone! The entire process was low stress and completely anticipated with his assistance. We love our new winter place and it was because Mark made the process so easy. Truly "The Real Estate Guy"!! Have you ever experienced a fortuitous situation, from which you were to find yourself deeply grateful? I've had such happen to me a few times in my life. The most recent was that of my coming to know Amy. Amy and I met one afternoon, such having been set up by a friend of mine. At such time she knew nothing as to who I was other than me possibly being a serious buyer and as to what kind of home I was interested in. Likewise, I did not have any idea of who she was, other than she was a real estate agent. Looking back with the benefit of hindsight, our meeting turned out to be a memorable happenstance. I was selling a home where I lived in California. As a result of that, I wanted to purchase a home in the Phoenix area of Arizona where I had several life long friends living that I wished to be close to. Now that I am in my later years and being a widower without any living immediate family, life-long friends become more important in one's life. I was immediately impressed with Amy by the way she was totally prepared for our meeting. Such was possible because of what she learned from my friend, and her having been the consummate professional. She was therefrom able to address my needs financially and physically; the latter being in terms of a home's location, size, and amenities that would be appropriate for me. Because I was selling a home that required my constant involvement, and then considering the distance between my selling and buying locations, the separation in distance made it difficult for me to be involved; that is, to the degree that I should be involved, concerning the purchase of what would be my new home. My purchase was made even more difficult because I elected to buy a new built home. Such introduced a lot of necessary attention that would not be applicable with the purchase of an existing home. I came to trust Amy implicitly. I even gave her written authorization to act on my behalf. Such help that she gave to me was always done with excited cooperative enthusiasm. She was always very professional, knowledgeable, and available for whatever surprises were to arise that needed to be dealt with. Yes! I would use her for my next real estate transaction without the need to give such a second thought. Bill W. Moreno Valley, CA
