I panicked with the 'problems' found on the inspection and helped as things got fixed. All done. I've been settled for a bit now and meant to write this. Even after moving in, I texted Christine with questions. She has helped me find a mover, handyman ,... and been lovely. I'm so grateful. I highly recommend this team to you.

I rented from Valentine Property Management for three years, and if I could do it over again, I…read morewould have listened to the one star reviews. Unfortunately, my experience ended up matching many of them. Our first impression should have been a red flag. We were charged a rekey fee, yet we were handed old, mismatched keys at move-in. Our lease also listed two garage remotes, but we only received one. The first time I ever met anyone from Valentine in person wasn't during move-in or any property inspection it was about 2 1/2 years into my lease when I had to hand-deliver a cashier's check. They claimed one of my rent checks had insufficient funds even though my bank records showed the money had been withdrawn and then returned. I emailed them the documentation, but they still charged me a $50 returned-check fee and required future payments to be made by cashier's check. It didn't matter what the bank records showed. Every maintenance request seemed to result in waiting a week or more just for a shady handyman to come out and put a temporary bandage on the problem instead of actually fixing it. Ironically, Valentine had no problem entering the home once a year to conduct inspections and photograph virtually every room, inside and out. Yet when it came time to move out, they never offered a pre-move-out inspection or gave us an opportunity to identify and correct any issues before assessing charges. They were willing to document everything during the tenancy but not provide tenants with the same opportunity to avoid unnecessary move out expenses. The move out process was by far the worst part. I touched up a few small paint areas using a can of paint that had been left inside the home, assuming it was the correct paint. It wasn't an exact match, and instead of touching up those areas, they charged nearly $2,000 to repaint the entire house. They also attempted to charge me to replace an entire refrigerator because of a small dent. Replacing a perfectly functional appliance over cosmetic damage is completely unreasonable. Individually, these issues are frustrating. Together, they left me with the impression that the goal was to find every possible reason to charge departing tenants as much as possible rather than apply reasonable standards for normal wear and tear. After my experience, I started reading more of the one star reviews. It was surprising how many people described nearly identical situations. When so many unrelated tenants tell the same story, it becomes difficult to ignore the pattern. I would never rent from Valentine Property Management again, and if you're a property owner considering hiring them, I'd encourage you to read the negative reviews carefully before making that decision. Good reviews can be bought....

Of all of the choices my wife and I had to make in the process of becoming first-time homeowners,…read morechoosing Buyer's Broker of Arizona is easily the best one. Purchasing a home in the Phoenix market can be complicated for a seasoned buyer--let alone first-time buyers. Despite all of the great on-line home-buying information and real estate listings, we quickly found that there is no substitute for a great real estate agent. My wife and I would need help if we were going to make it through this process with our sanity and pocketbooks in-tact. After vetting many real estate agents, we reached out to the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA), and they referred us to Ken Reid at Buyer's Broker of Arizona. After my first conversation with Ken, I knew we were talking to our agent. Ken Reid's great interpersonal skills and his extensive industry knowledge proved invaluable throughout the entire process. When it was time to search, he configured a web portal tailor-made to our needs that filtered wheat from the chaff in the volatile Phoenix housing market. When it came to visiting homes, Ken and his agent Mary Ann would meet us nigh anytime to provide insightful context to the house we were seeing. When we were placing offers, he helped us negotiate competitive contracts that were always in our best interests. And once we were on the road to closure, Ken ensured that no obstacle stood between us and a home that would make us happy. We closed on a wonderful home last week, and although the road hasn't been easy, I am convinced that our success is due in large part to Ken Reid's broad shoulders and passion for his clients. Thank you, Ken Reid & Buyer's Broker of Arizona!

He was right; I've lived here over 2 years and couldn't be more pleased with the home and Ken's outstanding service.
