Finally, after 50 mins from the start of the appointment, the doctor comes. Dr. White takes about 5 mins to review my skin, pays attention to almost no detail, talks formally and leaves. This is a total rip off. Where are the good doctors who see patients on time intentionally, and have an interest in what they do? When did this become a business, and only a business? Never will go there again - obviously.

The Photo Facial IPL was recommended by her and was the worse experience of my life. My scars are worst than they were when I went for the procedure. I was told to come for 3 sessions! The 1st was a disaster! I came back for an emergency follow up because my face was so damaged with Dr. Alcroft only to say this at my visit "this is normal and use Aquaphor - it should clear up in a few weeks". I was told that this was to be a quick and easy procedure? What? I had 3 degree burns on my face and that's all he could say?!! Oh did take a picture? I am still recovering from this and have been going to an excellent dermatologist in the area who has been working with me to repair this awful damage. Be aware if you have darker skin! He explained everything well and answered all of my questions. He even let me know that it's difficult to find a pcp here in ma. He told me to come back to the er in the meantime if any problems arose (which thankfully I didn't need to) until I found a pcp. He told me to call around for a pcp and to take whatever next available appt was available, which ended up being 4 months later for me. This was my experience, yours could be different from mine.

Since I have a somewhat higher standard for medical care, if I got shot on the sidewalk outside of Cooley Dickinson, I have lost so much faith over my two visits there, I would tell the ambulance crew to take me to Springfield or Greenfield, because I would rather bleed out in the back of an ambulance and go to hell than be treated at Cooley Dickinson for a third time.

While being professional he also has a sense of humor, which I appreciate. He takes my concerns seriously and submits the requests that I have for referrals or prescriptions in a timely way. I highly recommend him. And I have found the other staff at VMG to be professional and polite. Yes, there can be long wait times on hold and in the office, but many primary care doctors have left the field due to the problematic health system, so let's treat the ones who have stayed with some respect and appreciation!
