This is a total rip off. Where are the good doctors who see patients on time intentionally, and have an interest in what they do? When did this become a business, and only a business? My regular care providers were booked up until the end of time, so when one of the NPs at one office suggested that I go to Urgent Care, I made an on-line appointment at Cooley-Dickinson hospital and was booked into a 5PM appointment that same day. I attended the appointment, had to wait only a few minutes to be seen, an attendant came to measure my vital signs (heart still beating, lungs still breathing, etc.) and the attending NP came in, looked at the arm and said "tinea", sent a prescription to my pharmacist, and I was on my way.
