Our experiences with Carl and Karen Phillips from First Impressions of Phoenix have been nothing…read moreshort of amazing. We first interacted with Carl in December 2008 when we lived in the Washington DC area and decided to buy a house in the Phoenix area as a future retirement home. We interviewed by phone several real estate agents we found through the Internet and were extremely impressed with Carl's knowledge, responsiveness and willingness to work with us, so we enlisted him as our agent. We flew out to Phoenix in January 2009 to look at prospective properties. Carl spent two full days showing us house after house. Since the houses we were interested in were either short sales or foreclosures, we knew we had to be patient. Over the next five months, Carl advised us and guided us through the short sale/foreclosure process. He visited the many houses we identified through the MLS, took pictures of them and gave us his assessment. He quickly submitted bids on houses that met our criteria. He was always patient, quick to respond and thorough. He made us feel like we were his only clients, even though we knew we weren't. We were so confident in Carl's judgment that we committed to buy a house sight unseen. All we had were the MLS photos, his pictures and his opinion - but that was enough for us. After we closed, we flew out to Phoenix to see the house for the first time and we are absolutely thrilled. Carl did not steer us wrong. With some realtors, once the transaction is complete the relationship ends. Not with Carl. He continued to assist us. Since 2009, we have bought and sold another home with First Impressions of Phoenix, my father, brother and oldest son bought a house with them, and last week my youngest son closed on a house with help from First Impressions of Phoenix. If you work with Carl and Karen, you will end up with a relationship, not just a transaction. They will always look out for your best interests and they'll provide whatever support you need. We were a military family, moved around a lot and have dealt with many real estate agents. Without a doubt Carl and Karen are the absolute best!

His communication was excellent, and he kept us informed every step of the way, making what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable. Thanks to his expertise, he successfully sold two of our homes within just four months. The second sale was especially challenging because the home was significantly larger than most homes in the area, which resulted in a much higher asking price than comparable properties. Despite those challenges, Stan remained confident, developed the right marketing strategy, and ultimately got the job done. He provided great advice, handled every detail with care, and always had our best interests in mind. His dedication, integrity, and hard work truly set him apart. We highly recommend Stan to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. If you're looking for a Realtor who is trustworthy, professional, hardworking, and delivers results--even in challenging situations--you won't be disappointed!

With The J Group, from the first online meeting to turning the front door key, the whole entire process was not only painless, but actually pleasant. They clearly explained their process to me, as well as, the processes of the affiliates they work with. This move for me was from one state to another, and time sensitive, which required multiple ducks to line up in a straight row all at the same time. This was in a challenging market for condos generally and in our area particularly. She had terrific insights on pricing, including analyzing feedback from tours and sales of other units nearby and suggesting next moves. Her advice on preparing for listing led to universal comments about how well our unit showed and its features and condition. Our listing was stellar, with the write-up highlighting all the attractive aspects of our home. The photos from her vendor were perfect and she selected the ones that displayed the condos best features and making it look as spacious as it is. We had frequent showings compared to other condos in our complex, which we felt was due to presentation of the listing plus saavy pricing based on her advice. Courtney handled negotiations and details with the offers we received and helped net the best outcome in a tough market. All the while, she kept us updated on the market, was in touch with us on expectations, and ultimately was the key to the condo selling in less time than other units listed around the same time as ours. I would recommend Courtney without reservation as both a seller agent, and for buyers knowing her attention to detail and strong advocacy for her clients
