Great sushi in Geneva. Kids live eating here. Wish it wasn't as expensive as it is. Wonder if they have an Omakase menu

You wouldn't realize it from the street but this place is a hidden gem! Delicious, fresh and very quaint. Perfect for a date night out for sushi in a quiet place. Japanese staff are very sweet and knowledgeable. Try the sashimi! read more

I chose an assortment of their freshly made sushi, you can see the guys behind the bar working away like mad to crunch out more sushi wonders. I wasn't yelled at this time by a rude cashier, and I discovered something I had noticed before, there is a room with tables and chairs back behind the cashier. It is hard to see when the tiny store front is packed, as many take their goods to go. But, there is seating, back behind through a narrow door. Look closely, or you might miss the door to the larger seating area. The sushi tasted as good as it looked. My purse was just lighter than I would have liked it to be afterwords. You definitely pay for sushi in Switzerland, but that probably also is because we are a land locked country. :) If you like sushi, and want to splurge, definitely check this place out. Its rather expensive for the amount of sushi you get, but the quality and taste makes it worth it. I get 2x 6 piece rolls and a two piece salmon sushi for around CHF 30. Keep in mind its more of a take-out type of place, though, its not a very big restaurant and they dont have that many places to sit. I wouldn't really consider going here with a big group of friends for dinner.
