For our fam' of four, my husband and kids each had a bubble tea, and I decided to splurge on trying a bubble waffle ice cream cone. The bubble teas for the fam' were all enjoyed, with coconut, lemon, and strawberry the flavors of choice. As for my bubble waffle ice cream cone--WOW!! Good thing I had it on New Year's Eve, as this is NOT a New Year resolution food, HA!! They make a fresh warm bubble waffle, then use a cone mold to shape it into an ice cream cone receptacle. Then they fill it with your ice cream of choice, I went with blueberries and cream. And you get one free topping, which I chose cheesecake. The ice cream was fresh and smooth, and the cheesecake topping was BIG CHUNKS of creamy cheesecake. It was delicious and HUGE. I made it through the cheesecake and ice cream, but couldn't finish the waffle. While we were enjoying our treats at a table in the nearby food court, I could see one of the workers making a Thai rolled ice cream, which looked really good too. It's nice that cute little Bridgeport WV even has an option for bubble tea, let alone bubble waffle ice cream cones and Thai rolled ice cream. I said this shop is a little one - more specifically, the interior is small. They have a good number of outdoor seating options, which were not in use at 3:00 on a cool November afternoon. But over the summer, this would absolutely be a great spot to sit down, sip your drink, and either prep for a hike or recover after one. The staff were very nice and welcoming when I stopped in a couple of weekends ago. I ordered a lavender latte and got a couple of cute stickers for good measure. I didn't get any food or snacks, but I did note that there are some nice options here that I'd like to sample in the future! The latte itself was delicious, with the right mix of coffee, milk, and flavoring for me. I then enjoyed my coffee while strolling on one of the easier trails - it was so relaxing and was the perfect way to end my weekend. (Don't worry: my trash made it back to my car and didn't become litter in our beautiful state park!) I would absolutely come here again, and love knowing that there's a cute coffee shop to help kick off or wrap up a nice afternoon on the trails.

There's a paid parking lot across the street as well as metered parking on High Street. Their awning has seen better days but after walking up a small flight of stairs, you enter a cozy restaurant and greeted by its staff. There's about 8 tables for seating and the walls are neatly decorated with Japanese art. The front wall displays photos of their food offerings and made ordering easy. The friendly cashier answered some questions and we placed our order of shoyu ramen, curry rice with chicken katsu, shumai, gyoza, and takoyaki as well as soft drinks. There were several other customers having their meals and more gradually filled the tables as others left. The food was served soon after and looked delicious. They formed a kitty cat with the rice, complete with nori for cat eyes on the curry katsu plate. Nice touch. The curry was very flavorful and just the right consistency and a little spicy which went great with the katsu. Only wish there was more katsu. My buddy's ramen looked fantastic and was told the noodles were delicious in the broth. Found out the noodles aren't made in house but bought from a vendor. The gyoza and shumai were very tasty alone and with its sauce. The takoyaki took some time to cook but was nicely sauced and served. There were sizable chunks of tako inside and was very tasty. The prices are reasonable for a specialty restaurant and the service was great. There's another Japanese restaurant in Morgantown which was very good but Yama's was a little better and I'd return if ever I'm in Morgantown.
