With our fridge and freezer completely stuffed for the holiday, panic set in immediately. After another company canceled on us last minute and the LG website trapped us in an automated loop with no human help, we called True North. That is when our luck finally changed. Jonathan is an absolute legend. Not only did he squeeze us into his schedule at the end of a very long Friday, but the level of care he showed was unmatched. He drove to Portland to pick up the specific motor fan we needed, battled brutal Friday evening traffic, and still showed up at our door at 7:00 PM to get us up and running. Beyond just the repair, he actually coached us over the phone throughout the day--telling us how to rig up a temporary fan on the condenser to prevent the unit from burning out (which saved us a massive repair bill) and ensuring we didn't lose any of our holiday food. Note: Sending a copy of the error report and product label helped him make the diagnosis off site. In a world of automated prompts and cancellations, the human interaction, dedication, and genuine care we received from Jonathan were priceless. You saved our Thanksgiving. Thank you!

Ivan was amazing, really! I had a problematic fridge that I'd worked on for days. Temp fluctuations…read morebetween 46 and 51 degrees, far too warm to keep food. Error code C22 was the only thing I had to go by (evaporator fan error) but I was determined to get this done. I replaced the temperature sensor, tested the fan for continuity, changed out the main board, had a friend check it as well. All remained the same. So, I called SI Calieagles to save a little pride. Ivan came in, did a self analysis of the situation, took off the evaporator cover, stepped back... and very nicely asked me if I had a knife. Yes, a knife. He took the knife and started carving at the foam insulation that my friend had placed in the gap of the evaporator coil inlet to prevent moisture from penetrating into the back cavity. The foam had indeed filled the cavity and, continued to grow into the fan space contacting the blades when the cover was correctly in place. In under 10 minutes and with me feeling really dumb, all was rightsized and working perfectly. I can now laugh about this with my wife over a nice cold beverage.

Other services were booked out for weeks. the service technician said everything seemed to be working properly and it could simply be coolant was low. he topped it off and charged me $260. He told me to wait 24 hours and see if that resolved the issue. 24 hours later the problem wasn't resolved. I contacted him and he came back out that day. He said that it had to be the compressor. He started working at about 11am and worked all day trying to install the compressor. He spent most of the time trying to solder the lines so they wouldn't leak. This created a mess in our house. There was black soot everywhere. At the end of the day around 5:30pm he tells me he tried his best, but he can't fix it. Now we have a completely dead refrigerator and a house filled with soot. I will say he did give me a refund. On the other hand we had to deep clean the house and buy a new refrigerator. To replace our 5 year old LG that no longer could be used. I didn't want to try another repair.

Here are the facts-…read more I requested to be called by the manager, and received an email from a customer service instead. No attempt to resolve my issue was made. I think this speaks volumes about the company. They closed my claim without finishing the repair or my knowledge. The service call record (as in the email below) indicates they looked at my right oven (I have a double oven), but it was the left oven with the issue. I was present when the service tech was there. He quickly diagnosed the issue (I believe he said it was a faulty ignition pan that was firing to early, and said he would need to order a new one). The truth is that this company has trouble following through with service calls. They've wasted enough of my time with Pro-serve, but I suggest you never let them start wasting yours. (email below) Dear Mr. Waters, Thank you for contacting us today. We apologize for the inconvenience and intend to clarify our records and the Home Warranty service procedures. Below is a copy of our records regarding our last visit to your home: **10/30 BM out-Went to home spoke w/ customer about gas smell. Found gas smell to be in right oven. BM found igniter works, it just takes about 15 to 20 seconds to ignite burner. No gas leak and oven works within specs. No deductible, no repairs needed at this time. If there are problems with the oven at this time, the procedure is to place a work order with your home warranty; and they will assign us or another company to diagnose the unit under warranty. Regarding parts being ordered that would be up to your warranty company in this case. We suggest you contact them for coverage inquiries. Our technician communicates findings to them, and they are responsible for discussing their options with you. I apologize if this is the case and recommend contacting them to inquire about your coverage and/or place a work order for the stove issue. At this time, in our end, this claim is closed with American Home Shield; if you would like a technician to inspect, diagnose and orders parts for this repair without a work order from your home warranty company, you would be responsible for any repair parts & labor charges. Either way we would be glad to assist you! You may contact our office via email or phone to schedule a retail visit or contact AHS and place a work order; then, they will dispatch us or other company that will contact you for scheduling a technician visit. Thank you, Sincerely, Countrywide ProServ, Inc.
