Everyone was really friendly and prompt to help however I was very unsatisfied with how my eyebrows turned out. I felt like they rushed it although there was no one waiting. Temperatures were checked and sanitizer was present but staff did not wear gloves. I know my brows might have been difficult to do because of how grown out they were, but I would have appreciated if they listened to what I had initially said about a light clean up and not tried to shape them how they wanted. Gurjit and her husband are very welcoming, friendly, and make you feel comfortable in their store! The eyebrow technicians are always greet with a smile and are very very detail oriented. After years of coming here with family and friends I will no longer support this business! I came in for eyebrow threading. I sat in the"line" of chairs which is ordered so they can keep track of the customers. I was in chair 1 which means I was next up to get my eyebrows threaded. In walks a lady who sits in another chair. One of the women threading eyebrows is done with her client,skips over me and waves over the lady that just came in. She starts to work on her eyebrows right away. I sat a little longer thinking maybe this was a mistake. 5 min goes by and nothing. No acknowledgment that I was even there. I called the owner whom I spoken with several times in passing to explain what happened. He told me that the girl was new.He explains that she didn't know men get the service done. I find this really bizarre as there was another Indian male who was in one of the chairs getting his eyebrows done! Also, wouldn't you train your employees before they even start?! I explained this to the owner and he really showed no regard. The women who work in the threading salon are definitely racist and sexist. I've noticed hints of this behavior before but today was it. I went to Kash Fabrics to get threading services today. It has been months since I have gone due to Covid 19. Needu is an amazing threading professional! I have received threading services for years, in different countries, and from a variety of threading businesses. This was the fastest, least expensive, and most gentle threading I ever had! It was outdoors with a tented awning covering. They sterilized the chair, offered hand sanitizer, and wore masks the entire time. I highly recommend Kash Fabrics for threading. Ahh, finally found my go-to threading place! Seriously.. I'm always hopping from one shop to the next. The reason being is because I like to see what options I have before deciding if it's going to be my regular spot. I used to live in Lathrop and there was a lady who did my eyebrows in her own home. She ALWAYS, ALWAYS did them perfectly. Since I moved here I've been looking for a really good threading place for me. Kash Fabrics has taken the trophy. Honestly. Funny story how I ended up coming here. My boyfriend told me he wanted me to come over to his house and meet his parents. I had just gotten off work and I haven't been threaded for a while now. You know what that means.. 5 o'clock shadow and bushy eyebrows. Yeah, not cute. Anyways, almost all threading salons were closed. I already knew that was a given, but then I came across this place on Yelp when I filtered the "open now" tab. I called to confirm their threading services and was on the way. I had to call because I was skeptical of the company name.. Kash Fabrics. It's like a one-stop shop. There's a store of a bunch of cool cultural stuff and then in the back, is the business! It's pretty awesome. I came in about 15 minutes til closing and they took me. Service was pretty fast and I nearly fell asleep. My girl hooked me up! I was lookin so good! I didn't even think $5 eyebrow threading still existed in 2019 until I found this gem. I would see the sign posted outside and passed this place many times as it's on my way to the gym. I finally decided to see if the $5 threading was real and I'm happy I did. I have my eyebrows microbladed so it's kind of hard to mess them up so I can't really critique how they shape my brows. Full face is super affordable as well and I'm happy I can come here to get that done every once in a while without breaking the bank. It can get pretty busy but the girls are quick. This review is mainly for their eyebrow threading services. I have been getting my brows done at Kash Fabrics for years now and can vouch for how great this place is for the price they charge. They charge $5 for females and $7 for males. Can't beat that! A small parking lot is provided for their guests but if it gets full, have no fear! There is plenty of parking near the Thrift Center right next door. Although Kash Fabrics is popular for their threading services, note they are first and foremost a fabric store. To get to the room for their threading services, walk through the store and towards the back. The women doing the threading are all very welcoming, calm, polite, and clean. There may be lines at times but the wait is usually pretty short. The women are all skilled BUT let's just say some are more skilled than others. To all the individuals who had a bad experience with their threading services and/or left a negative review, I completely understand where you are coming from and don't blame you! I've gotten my brows done by a number of their workers and luckily haven't had a horrible experience like them threading too much or whatever, but some experiences were better than others. I admit that out of all their workers, there is only one I fully trust. I have no idea what her name is but a lot of my friends go here as well and totally agree. TIPS: - Bring cash so you don't have to pay an extra $1 fee. - Make sure to sign your name in their waiting list! - When the workers are done threading, they give you a paper with the amount you have to pay. These ladies don't take the payment. Pay in the front of the store where the registers are. Let me start by saying that I've been loyal to my eyebrow lady for over 4 years. I used to go to this place in East Side San Jose but ever since I moved to the East Bay that drive is just out of the question (oh how I hate you 880). Anyways I found this place on Yelp and got a price over the phone. Only $20 for full face. You can't beat that. Also the guy on the phone was extremely friendly. When I walked in I was seated immediately and my girl got to work on my face. She did more than an amazing job- when I say there are no hairs on my face.. I literally mean there are no hairs on my face. She took her time, didn't rush and I was completely happy with the result. My eyebrows are perfectly arched. I don't remember her name :( It starts with an R I feel bad for cheating on my eyebrow lady but I just don't see myself ever going back to my old place. If I could give zero stars for the clothing purchase I certainly would. I was sold a dress that was supposed to be great quality and party wear. I was charged a higher tax which is not the correct sales tax for that area. I showed my friends who are Indian and was informed that the material was Cheap. That those gowns run less than $100. I attempted to call the store and the lady was less than reluctant to provide excellent service. They were pushy when I arrived and then acted nice. I feel I was taken advantage of because I did not understand how this goes. I was recommended this store as an option and regret stopping. Today this place me the worse service I have had in two years. They hired new people, who are really slow!! I get it, the turn over rate is high, but seriously there was this one girl who worked on me for an entire 25 mins!! FOR EYE BROWS ONLY!!! That's so ridiculous....especially since she jacked up my eye brows, knowing that I have wedding festivities this week, since I told the girl. Aside from making my eye brows uneven, they actually tried justifying it. I told my mom that I'll never return and i said it unintentionally out loud since i was so upset. After all, this was the third time I had crappy service. There is only so much I can put up with. Without blame,the owner n their family took offense. They didn't care to see that their employee was 1. Taking forever 2. Getting assistance on how to do eye brows (I wasn't asked to be their trial and error customer) 3. Telling her co/worker show much sugar she needed in her tea. 4. most importantly, I was upset with my experience.... Can you believe that the daughter of the owner tells me that my eye brows will grow back in two weeks...Then they expected me to remain calm and collective? The wedding is this week, how's that possibly going to make things better for me now? I had very right to be upset n disrespectful. Rather then seeing that I was upset for my time wasted, they were concerned about my tone. I told all my friends n family to go to this place but not anymore. Been coming here on/off for about a year and a half now & you just can't beat their $5 eyebrow threading. They just recently expanded their waiting area too. I always request for the lady in the 1st chair (couldn't understand her name but she's always at the first chair) because she is thorough and always shapes my brows just how I like it. HOWEVER, I came here last week to get my brows threaded and I was in a rush and opted for a new lady. (She was at the very last chair) I asked her to specifically "clean up my brows and keep my shape." 2 minutes later, I felt an agonizing depilatory pain that I've never felt before and I come to find that she had THREADED THE BOTTOM SECTION OF MY EYEBROW OFF. Not only that, but one of my eyebrows was thinner than the other. I confronted her about my disappointment and immediately she said, "you said you wanted to clean it up, right?" UHHH cleaning up doesn't mean threading a whole bottom section out! First and only time I walked out without tipping. Really thought that Kash would hire more skillful employees. 2 stars for cheap prices & also cause I'll probably be back, just never to the same lady. read more

I would always pass this place on my way to school sometimes, when I'd choose to take the side streets than take 880. One day, I noticed that they offered threading for a whopping $5! Mine you, this is a fabric store. Where can you find a place to thread your eyebrows that cheap? I haaad to try it, so one day I did. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt as much as other places I've gone to. The lady said it might be because of the thread they use. I'm thinking, "how come no one else uses this thread then?" Btw, threading doesn't hurt that much, but still. I've came in more than once, but after a few times, I started noticing that when my eyebrow hairs grew out, it would grow everywhere, with hairs going different directions. I'm not sure why it did that, but I was totally turned off from it. Sadly, I haven't gone back since. Cheap threading, yes, but you can get more for your money else where. Came here because my regular threader was closed for the week and I needed my brows done ASAP. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and there were only two ladies ahead of me on the waiting list. There were three women threading. I'm not sure if it's just me, but it felt like the thread they use is a lot softer than what other salons use. The whole process only took a few minutes. I was scared that my brows would come out too thin because that has happened to me at other salons, but they were perfect! No stray hairs left behind, not too thin. I drive all the way to Hayward to get myself de-haired and I'll happily keep at it. Why? Because there is a woman there who is quick but thorough and threads with the confidence of someone who really knows what she's doing. She's like a fairy godmother, with string. After entering through the back door (the main door) I was asked if I've ever done threading before. I was directed to the salon in the back where a lovely woman waited for me to sit and stick my tongue where she indicated. About five minutes later I felt and looked like a new woman. As an added bonus, threading services here are incredibly cheap (about half or more than half what I'd pay elsewhere). It more than makes up for the cost to drive here and gives me reason to try new dinner places in Hayward. Note: They're closed Mondays read more

I was forced to come here since my usual eyebrow girl, Rani, was on vacation! She's from Stela Salon and my go to girl but since she was gone I had to find some place else. Pros: This place is dirt cheap, I only spent $10 for threaded eyebrows and lips. No wait (Maybe because I came here at 11 on a weekday?). My eyebrows came out perfect! Perfectly arched and not too thin, just the way I like it. Cons: The lady who threaded me was pretty rough and unfriendly. She also made me hold down not only my eyelid but also my forehead. Who does that? I can hold down my eyelid skin but my forehead skin? WTF? I've never had to put in work for other people to do my eyebrows for me. Overall, despite the roughness and unfriendliness... I'd say it's worth it for cheap and perfect eyebrows. :) P.S. They charge $1 if you have to use card so bring CASH! read more

I've been coming here for 2 years now and this is the ONLY place I go to. You really can't beat $5 for the perfect threaded eyebrow. Other places will charge $10-$15 but honestly nobody does it like the ladies at Kash Fabrics. The staff that works in the front are really friendly as well. I love the setup that they have. Just walk into the store and the room where they thread eyebrows will be in the back. You get your eyebrows done, the lady gives you a slip for how much you must pay, take it to the cashier, pay and you're out the door! Decent eyebrow threading but if you consider the $5 price, hells to the yeah, it's a winner. I came in today, a Friday, around 3pm. There were 4 ladies ahead of me. Waited around 15 minutes. Not bad. They have 3 stations and the lady who worked on me (Pavda I think her was her name, I apologize if I got it wrong) did a good job. I've been growing out my eyebrows for a couple of months (they grow in slow motion) and she did a good job cleaning it up, keeping it a bit thick as I requested. I have the sad puppy dog kind of shaped brows and she managed to make them look normal. So if you're a newbie here, park in the back (or in front on the street) where the entrance is. When you enter, walk all the way to the end then make a left. They have a pad on the counter by the last station. Write your name. They call out the number, not your name so be mindful as you kill time with those magazines. They work on you for about 5 minutes. Give the ladies a tip (c'mon, they did you good for just 5 bucks!) then you pay the $5 at the counter just outside of the salon. Will definitely come back. The guy at the counter said they'll give you a discount on your next visit if you write a review. Awesome! Super thumbs up! read more
