The eyebrow threading price has increased from $5 to $8 since I first reviewed Kash in 2019. But it's still a super reasonable price! The threading artists are quick and talented. Youngest M and I have a new tradition. We'll get our brows done together whenever she's back home from college. That and our blood donation at the Red Cross are two of our together outings we look forward to. This is my go-to spot for eyebrow threading! Just $8 for brows--such an amazing deal, especially in the East Bay where you won't find it cheaper. Add $1 if you are using a card and don't have cash. Tipping is optional and cannot be added in the card with their cashier so bring cash. No appointment needed, just walk in, and the wait time is usually not bad. WARNING Regarding their Henna: They DO NOT have natural henna at this location!!! They sell highly questionable chemical-laced henna with no list of ingredients, lacking the natural earthy smell, and colored red, instead of the brownish-reddish-greenish of natural henna. The brand is Kangana Henna Cone. Real natural henna should only have 4 ingredients: Henna powder; sugar; Lavender, Tea Tree, or other Essential Oils; and lemon juice or water. Don't EVER buy henna if the ingredients are not listed. Safe natural henna is usually NOT shelf stable. In order to make shelf-stable henna that stains quickly, companies often put dangerous chemicals into the henna powder, and occasionally forego using real henna powder altogether. I've been going here for many many many years to get my eyebrows threaded even during Covid. They do a great job. The customer service is excellent they are very friendly. I've never had a problem. I highly recommend. I've given them five stars. I'm very picky with my eyebrows, but for the price, you can't beat it seven dollars to get your eyebrows done and I always leave a tip. Came here last month for a face thread and left with disappointment regarding the quality (lots of spots where light bleeding occurred). When I asked to fix the brows a little (snip the long portions) the need was unmet. Went in with a friend and they thought I shouldn't be so close to her because it looks like we are a couple LOL And the two aunties said they don't understand kids these days and how same sex couples is a thing. I get the generational difference but come on. Don't make your customers feel uncomfortable. Don't call anyone fat. Don't call anyone too skinny. You're selling an outfit to someone. You're not God that you should judge people. Ruined the shopping experience for sure. We bought a blouse, paid for alteration and upon pick up, they said it's going to cost an extra $20 because their tailor cost more in their end. They just took the money from us and really they should have been up front. Go to Fremont, Dublin or Tracy guys. Better service, same quality of clothes. Most importantly, kinder people who don't judge you for wearing whatever you want to wear, or having "saggy" breasts or being "overweight" according to their standards. Their son is nice. Seamstress aren't the best but they get the work completed in the short amount of time. The other plus, the seamstress cost is part of your suit cost. Friendly service. Accept cash and credit cards. Also while she was helping us Gurjeet came by as well to assist. After trying on a couple pieces we all decided the anarkali my friend tried on was the best!! Also the price was unbeatable! I've been getting my brows done here for a while now, and they haven't disappointed...until this day. The first picture you can see a little irritation, and this normally doesn't happen. The second picture is how my brows were left after the visit, uneven and one is thinner than the other. The third picture is how they normally look like (not the best picture, but you can tell the difference). They always have different ladies, and it's hard to keep up with who gives better services. So if you are new here I would recommend having the same person do your brows every time. I normally don't stick to the same lady bc I felt like it's rude denying getting a service from one of the other ladies, but I'm definitely doing this for the future. Love my eyebrows! I have thick eyebrows and it is hard to find someone who will thread them and just clean them and not try to shape them. Very pleased with my visit, they usually charge $5 but with covid they are charging $7 which is honestly not bad at all because I have seen some businesses with higher prices!! Very sweet staff and sanitary practices, threaders wear gloves and masks to minimize transmission of any kind and I wore my own mask (you won't be attended if you forget it at home! But you can also purchase one there) Chairs are at an appropriate distance and it's in their parking lot outside in a shaded location! Most overwhelming experience. The minute you walk into the store they follow you around. They don't give you any space to breathe. They grab things from your hands when you are trying to show your mom. I'm not sure why they do that. Maybe they think people are going to steal their items?
