I went through months of PT, acupuncture, cranial sacral therapy, and tried medication. None of these helped much at all. I still had DAILY feelings of rocking and swaying with accompanying nausea. After three of four adjustments using the equipment ONLY Dr. Newman has, I started to feel some relief. I completed my sessions and the cervical spine portion of the vestibular issues are much better. I will continue to come in to keep my cervical spine, entire spine, and body in the best of health. I love that they have equipment that is backed by real science. It's like no other chiropractic experience I have had in the past, and I have been seeing chiropractors as needed for over 3 decades. Dr. Newman and staff are just the kindest and most compassionate people. The atmosphere there is one of peace and calm. Dr. Newman is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to communicate with you and answer all of your questions. They make billing your insurance a breeze, too! I can't recommend them highly enough.

If you are suffering from this, please go and see him. You will not be disappointed:)

This is unethical and I have worked in the medical field as a labor and delivery nurse and then for an insurance company as a case manager for a high risk ob program. So before going to his practice, I checked to make sure he was participating and I knew what my responsibility for copays were and how many visits allowed. Even though he tried to convince me that my insurance company would cover more visits, I knew that was incorrect. I have been to other chiropractors in the past with the same insurance, I am on Medicare which is secondary, I have an advantage plan, and I was never billed anything additional, and Dr Snyder did nothing but a usual manipulation and nothing else. I just don't want this to happen to someone else. Dr Snyder should not accept insurance if he doesn't want to fill the guidelines and accept the payment.

So I'm goose hunting in the middle of winter on the Langford River in Maryland. A nice bird tolls…read moreinto the decoy spread, I rise up to shoot but I don't get the shot I want. It flies up and turns away before falling in the middle of the river. Score one bird for dinner. Problem is the river is deep and wide, and covered in a layer of thin ice. It's been a long few days of hunting and I'm tired, but I have to retrieve my bird. The only way is using a sit-upon kayak. Note this is winter, not summer; I'm wearing full winter gear just to stay warm in the frigid river air. I strip off my parka, jump on the kayak and head out. I'm straining to get the boat through the ice. With each stroke the bow rides up on the ice then breaks through. Exhausting work in heavy clothes, I'm sweating like crazy. My position in the kayak is completely uncomfortable, shotgun across my lap, hunched over. Mind you, if I capsize, my big winter boots will drag me down to my death. Almost to the bird, something pops in my hip, like a knife jammed into my right butt cheek. I barely make it to the bird and back to the dock thinking I've hurt my back somehow. Crawling to the blind, I sit dazed wondering what the hell is strained. The pain is excruciating. Finally I can't stand it any longer. I somehow get back to the house about 50 yards away and pop 8 Advil. After five minutes tick by, I impatiently down a glass of scotch waiting for the meds to kick in. Crippled, I get to my bed and lay there unable to move without crying. Mind you, I'm not unfamiliar with pain, and I have the scars to prove it. I've had my appendix out, hand cut to the bone, arm almost ripped off, knee split open, broken bones, you name it. But this has me whipped. Lots more booze that night gets me to the morning, but when I wake up, I'm just as bad. I crawl to my car and drive home. The next day at work, I'm no better, can barely move, stiff and pained. One of my employees suggests a chiropractor. Yeah, yeah, I've been to them before. Years ago when I was a younger man I had a lot of back pain. I saw many chiropractors. One was so "spiritual" that I couldn't tell if he was actually doing anything at the sessions. One time he actually falls asleep and bumped his head on mine. My mother says he was channeling positive energy but I call bullshit. Another guy twists my body and says "ready?" before cracking me like a walnut. I hated him more than sleepy. My employee says, Dr. Wendi isn't like that, so I relent and call. She makes time for me that day. After some evaluation, the doctor determines I've severely strained my sacroiliac joint, that's the one that holds your spine to your pelvis. You need that to do things like walk, sit, lie down, and anything else that requires movement. On the table, she adjusts me with mild pressure, no cracking, no twisting, Dr. Wendi doesn't believe in that. Like a disciple at a faith healing road show, I literally get up off the table and walk up and down the hall with a nearly normal gait. It was biblical. The pain comes back a bit the next day as she predicted but less each time I visit and a handful more sessions later I'm recovered. Dr. Wendi is my hero. I still go to see her from time to time. No more major pain now but like most people I'm a little crooked from years of not taking the easy route. She pushes me back in alignment and I walk out straighter and taller every time. She's holistic but not goofy, assertive but not a back cracker, the way chiropractors should be. Highly recommended.

After one visit to Dr Hank my headaches were gone. I started to feel some relief in the hips after that first visit. Each visit the hips felt better and better. There is room in his waiting area to distance if there is anybody else there at the same time. And his parking lot was cleared of snow immediately after an 18 inch snowstorm! I'm gonna try to not let things go so long from now on. It's easy to forget how your quality of life suffers from body pain and misalignment. I can still remember clearly how different I felt walking out from that first visit compared to how I felt walking in. Thank you Dr Hank!

However, there is some historical cross-over that's getting mixed up. The gentleman in the photo with the salt and pepper hair sold the business to another man (who is bald and much younger). He has been the owner for several years now. A friend of mine referred me to this practice and I learned that he doesn't believe in marketing beyond word-of-mouth so he hasn't taken steps to correct any of this. Which is fine, not everyone has time or interest in online apps and marketing and rely on people like me, I suppose, to spread the word. So here I am. I've had two appointments now and have found relief from an issue that's been plaguing me for almost 2 years. I've been in and out of chiropractic for 25 years at this point and this guy is the real deal. He's conservative in his treatment. His initial intake consultation took almost an hour (but I have a complicated spine history) and there were no pressure tactics. No scare tactics. Just a lot of consultative 'here's what I can do, what are your goals?' kind of conversation. He has a hydraulic table which is something I need for low back distraction. He has an ultrasound machine. He has an activator (for pin point adjustments - the 'clicker' device some chiropractors use). And he has several modalities for working on your muscles (hands-on and various massage and percussive devices as well as cupping). And he takes COVID seriously and masks appropriately. He's the real deal and serious about helping you heal. Not make a quick a buck are making you pay for some plan in advance.

I was met with the same results as my first visit with Dr. Stern, I immediately felt relief and I'm continuing to go back as needed. His bedside manner is amazing. He's very thorough. He doesn't try to pull one over on you or scare you into unnecessary visits or charge astronomical fees or try to sell packages . He's worth way more than he charges. True talent , an asset to his profession. Someone who truly cares about his patient's with a goal of optimal health and pain-free living. I give the highest recommendation !!
