I ignored them and went to look around the shop and found a few cute items so I go to pay for it. The cashier was so Snoddy and treated me like I was gum She picked off her shoe. Very unprofessional. Meanwhile the other employees that were just sitting around were still continued talking to each other. I left feeling like I was trash. They only had one toy from what I saw. I spent about $200 while there and probably over na hour going through stuff. They also have some shoes that are seperately priced. Make sure you look up because I didn't and they have themore pricey or individual priced items haning from the cieling. The empployee was very friendly. They don't bug you when you're looking. Make sure to grab a cart even if you don't think that you will buy anything. Oh.. you pay here by the pound I believe it was about $1.89 a lb but I'm not 100%.

*After this last year of living alone, I had forgotten just how friendly and kind people can be. I…read morewas pleasantly reminded of the better angels that walk among us during today's visit at Nostalgia. *In many ways, it's a typical second-hand store, considerably cleaner than most, though; and no 'funky' smells! *I stepped inside and explained my 'mission': a nice second-hand frame for a bit of recently acquired art work, AND since it was roasting hot, may I bring my leashed puppo inside? A friendly affirmation followed with a warning that there were THREE territorial katz in residence! I brought puppo inside, and yes THREE fine katz appeared. *Puppo ignored them, however one of the ladies offered to 'run interference' for us, as the largest kat, a massive fellow, wasn't too happy with a canine on premises! She walked ahead of us as I scanned each booth! Soon, I found exactly the type frame I was looking for, glass included! *Now I've been a second-hand aficionado for decades, and I've never encountered such kindness, folks. Second-hand stores are 'dime a dozen', staff such as these kind ladies are, are RARE! *Parking is a bit cramped, but handicapped access is superb! The interior is a bit cramped in areas, so leave the backpack and stroller outside. *Even though my frame was obviously used, they still insisted upon wrapping it up, AND carrying it to my vehicle! Although I found it to be outside my wallet price point, I really appreciate how Todd and his wife concentrate on mid-century vintage. This come-back era is hot right now and specialization gives them the ability to focus on quality pieces. All items are cleaned and treated - absolutely ready to be brought home. Super high end. I mean, you could eat right off those bright avocado green plates. Here's my two cents on why spot-clean is critical. It might go without saying in this business..but whoa!...presentation and suggestion for homeware use and decor is key. Especially for mid-mod items, the cleaner the pieces, the more vivid the color which just throws you right into back into mid-mod environs. They do a terrific job here. (I mean, do you want to take home a dusty, faded-color, fondue tray which lost its elements that evoke the era?) The whole shop knocks my socks off! Product displays are very well done and you are jolted back in time the moment you walk in the door. The vignettes keep a steady theme and the colors totally pop. Just like they did mid-century. Here is what you'll find: tables, mirrors and furniture, lots of lamps, plenty of paintings, canisters, radios, knick-knacks, funky book ends, lots of owls, plates and bowls and zillions more. They really do pack it in here. And they have so much more to display. I see this really as the showcase boutique for their online shop. Todd told me the story of how he and his wife fell in love with all things mid-mod whey bought their 1960s-something home. Try to catch them on the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month. The shop is only open occasionally. Definitely worth a visit.

I was in awe by the quality and quantity of their retro stock which was all in mostly amazing condition, ready to be brought home, clean, and the colors really pop and haven't lost their unique brilliancy! Very clean store and helpful customer service. Although it was a little over priced, I found a few items I was willing to buy without thinking about the price too much.
