Right next to a group of 8 in a space made for 4... with half the restaurant empty... not a good start. The ambience overall is cool - it's an old train station. The food was excellent and portions are ample. We had pizza and pasta and it was all very good. The waittress was a gem - she worked really hard and earned her tip. They have a great coupon book, but the rules require a degree in english literature and a magnifying glass to read - irritating. Would we go back - yup, probably. Would we recommend - nope.

I tried their food out during a daytime lunch event in Downtown Saskatoon, in which Flor's had a stand. From their limited event menu, I got an order of pancit guisados and one BBQ beef skewer which seemed a reasonably priced meal for $13 CAD. The pancit noodles were delicious and filling, while the BBQ skewer had a nice char and looked like it used BBQ short rib. There are actually a good number of Filipino restaurants in Saskatoon and my experience made me interested in trying more of their offerings.
