She has a way of getting great angles and finding the best light. I've always felt I'm not the most photogenic, but somehow I always end up with a bunch of pictures that I love. My oldest is a serious boy, but somehow she got that kid to smile in most photos. She's a miracle worker and is beyond worth the wait. I gladly book my family sessions a year in advance. When I got pregnant she was literally the first person I contacted because I knew how in demand Ashley is and I didn't want anyone else for my newborn pictures. Why would I want to hire someone that can get me in immediately?? The person clearly isn't good if they are that available! Ashley will be our photographer forever!

She was very quick to respond to my initial inquiry (which was an issue I'd been having with other photographers), and was very communicative throughout the process. When we arrived at her studio in Stanwood, the atmosphere was absolutely perfect for a newborn - dim lighting, soothing music, and a warm environment. The studio was super clean, and even had a bathroom with a changing station and diapers / wipes in case we needed them. There were many hats, blankets, and props to choose from. But what we loved the most was Ana's warm, sweet, gentle way with the baby. She's a baby whisperer!! She soothed and cuddled my granddaughter and was able to take the most precious photographs that we will cherish forever. Thanks again for everything, Ana!!

We did a family photo session with Ana and was very impressed with the results and her quick and…read morefriendly communication prior to the shoot! I am really picky when it comes to new photographers but Ana was referred to us and so I thought we would give her a try. It was our first "mini session" and I was afraid a timed mini session anywhere would feel rushed (especially with a toddler) but we did not feel rushed at all. Ana was very patient and created a stress-free environment, she let us take our time with every pose, and even got our toddler to smile quite a bit (which in the past we found difficult for anyone else to make him smile). She knows how to work with little ones! She had great ideas for poses as well and also made sure there weren't any specific poses we wanted that were left out. I came into this session just wanting 5-10 photos but she delivered so much more and I'm so thankful we got copies of all of that because the pictures really did turn out great! We definitely feel like this photo session was worth every bit spent! (She even collected food donations and provided giveaways to those who donated). Sunny was excellent! She met me at her salon on her day off and was very pleasant. She had me put…read moreon my wig so that she could style it properly. Previously, a different hair stylist tried styling it when it was still on the stand. Sunny asked me how I usually had my hair and discussed what she was about to do. Communication continued to confirm that what she was doing was okay with me. When completed, it looked really good! Next, she washed my hair and began cutting it. She explained what she was doing and why. She taught me a breathing exercise and began massaging my scalp. Felt so good! When she was finished, I happily left with a well styled wig and a wash and wear haircut.

We went to the lavender farm on the island and a few minutes later, he proposed in the lavender field! I didn't know it at the time, but Steve was a few rows over photographing us! After the proposal (and I found out what was happening) my fiancé and I got to take engagement photos for the remainder of our time there.
