She has a way of getting great angles and finding the best light. I've always felt I'm not the most photogenic, but somehow I always end up with a bunch of pictures that I love. My oldest is a serious boy, but somehow she got that kid to smile in most photos. She's a miracle worker and is beyond worth the wait. I gladly book my family sessions a year in advance. When I got pregnant she was literally the first person I contacted because I knew how in demand Ashley is and I didn't want anyone else for my newborn pictures. Why would I want to hire someone that can get me in immediately?? The person clearly isn't good if they are that available! Ashley will be our photographer forever!

Her photography speaks for itself, it is simply stunning. She photographed my wedding as well as a boudoir session my wife gave me as a wedding present. Everything turned out perfectly, we cried when we saw how beautiful they are. All of our guests are still gushing about how amazing our photos are! And this is just mentioning her artistic talent, she is also the most sweet and friendly person to work with. She is always calming, even in the chaos of family wedding photos, and was instrumental in my wife and I enjoying our wedding day and finding time to really reflect and appreciate the day. At every stage, from our initial interview through when we received our photos after the wedding, including all planning and the wedding day, she was everything we could ever ask for (and we were NOT an easy client, I assure you). There is no question, she is the ONLY photographer we will ever hire from now on.

She's very good at what she does; our newborn stayed asleep during the entire shoot thanks to her experience and attention to detail (making sure the room was warm, using white noise, soothing our babe, etc). I really appreciated how she made sure to ask if there was anything in particular we wanted to see in our pictures, and she even sent us a few preview shots only 24 hours after the shoot which was incredibly sweet. Aside from newborn shoots, she does a range of other photography, including family shoots, weddings, maternity, and boudoir and specializes in using natural light for her shots. Before I had my session with her, I was freaked out about having a professional photo session as I had gained weight since the last time I was in front of a photographer. Lisa is SO amazing at making you feel comfortable, beautiful and bringing out your inner light. I didn't think it was possible to love the pictures she took as much as I do but she had a special talent for pulling you in and making you shine through her lens. Please book a session with her for any reason, whether it's family photo time, senior pics, wedding photos, boudoir, etc. She can do it all and make you feel beautiful in the process!! In addition, Lisa is a pillar in her community, helping out and giving back wherever she can. As a small business owner, she knows the struggles other business face and always tries to pay it forward, especially during the holidays. I debated for a while whether we should do this or not since she is a picky photographer wannabe herself. And the time passed so fast. I used the function in Yelp to reach out to multiple photographers and Heidi was one that responded along others. She requested more information by email and she had the flexible dates and reasonable price for what we wanted. Heidi suggested several locations such as Jennings park, Snohomish downtown etc.. Daughter wanted to get done in Snohomish. It was raining the day unfortunately and wasn't sure how it will turn out to be. Heidi even offered to change some other time. But we just decided to do as our schedule was heck tic at the time. It was supposed to be 40 minutes long session but probably ended up like an hour? My daughter changed once, formal to casual. Also she wore graduation gown and cap in the middle of the session. Heidi was very patient and tried to accommodate what we wanted. The whole session went smooth as she knows the area, how she wanted my daughter (and her boyfriend) to be the model. She went above and beyond every step of the way. Finished pictures were warm, exhibited natural beauty. I highly recommend Heidi for any portrait sessions and weddings.
