I was impressed that they offer five different hard ciders on tap in addition to a dozen craft beers on tap. I chose to sample a Baked Apple cider and it was aptly named! It tasted like I was drinking a baked apple I also noticed that they have a partnership with Lava Louie's pizza! There is a QR code on the side of their napkin dispensers that will connect you to Lava Louie's online ordering menu! And, Lava Louie's will deliver it to you at Wicked Teuton! However, Wicked Teuton does offer their own menu. You don't have to order from Lava Louie's if you don't want to. I had an enjoyable wait for my movie. I just hope the movie is as enjoyable as my wait was.

Little did we know, we would soon stumble across the most perfect hidden gem for our intimate event, Jenne Farm. The glory of this 150 acre property was celebrated by us in many ways. We held our rehearsal dinner in the historic farm house built in 1908, took photos in awe inspiring pastures, and shared our vows on a cold winter day in the most charming granary greeted by the most delightful farm animals. The best part of our weeklong stay there was our host, Fran. Talk about the most humble and hospitable person we had ever come across. He made us feel so comfortable and truly helped lay the foundation for one of the most memorable days of our lives. I have been going to the Jenne Farm for 3-4 years since a friend got married there. We get a bunch…read moreof friends together and rent the house for a weekend. Each family prepares a meal and we just have a good time. The Jenne Farm is a fantastic spot to let the woes of city life disappear while you sit on the porch of the 100 year old farm house. Take walks through the farm land and forests visit the beach nearby and mainly just relax. Chat with the farmers who stop buy nearly daily to tend to things they will give you farm fresh eggs even take you on a hay ride. I got to drive the tractor...felt like a kid again! There is no TV or Phone so bring a bunch of friends and just enjoy life!

I was traveling through this interesting area and found myself on this street lined with boutique…read moreshops! It was a lovely spot on a sunny winter day, so I got out and scanned the offerings. This bookstore jumped out at me, and I knew I needed to take a look. Having a very young niece, I'm constantly on the hunt for books to enrich her developing mind. I hit the jackpot with this place! The owner has a wonderful spirit and is exceptionally helpful in showing a new customer around. I love a small business with passion for its offerings, it's critical for the atmosphere to be just right. You can feel the passion in this space. Having done a lot of my shopping online over the last few years, I don't often venture into shops. But this one pulled me in and rewarded me with a bounty of books for my darling girl, and I'll be taking trips to this area, specifically with the store in mind! I didn't have any thought to look at adult offerings but I'll make sure to do that on future visits. Right now it's all auntie brain all the time! Come in with an open heart and on the hunt for literary treasures. There are new books and used books to choose from! It's so fabulous and truly magical.

There's always a wide variety of interesting new and used books to find here! They have some books…read morespecific to Whidbey Island and its history. There's a nice section of children's books as well. I also really appreciate the reading area in the back with seating and a few toys that help keep the kiddos entertained while you shop. It's a great little shop in downtown Oak Harbor!
