A sweet gentleman helped me by checking the air in all my tires and indeed, my front driver's-side tire was low on air. He told me that if it didn't hold the air to return and have the tire examined. The tire kept leaking air and I returned. So, after their investigation, a piece of metal was discovered. They patched the tire and did so for FREE!!!! Yes, free. I was astonished and tried to pay them something, anything. But, my money was refused. They said that the next time I needed tires to come to them. While there he was told that he would have to purchase new tires as there were "cords" showing on my tire. There was not. Also, they stated that the brakes also needed fixed because of sever wear. Jokes on them. Those brakes were just done not long ago. My husband called Tire-Rama to see if he could get in. They said come on in! While there they fixed the tire. Checked each one for any issues. As well as went over brakes. No sever wear was found on any of the tires. the brakes are fine too. Just like we knew they would be. There were a couple other cars in the bays, but I was waved in immediately. The guy I interacted with the most was extremely nice, polite, professional, and, answered all my questions; some of them genuine, some of them just curiosity (do you guys get burned a lot by hot oil?). I was in and out within 10 minutes or so. Knowing how much 5 quarts of oil and an oil filter cost, I can't say a drive through oil change is cheap, but it sure is convenient. My 71 Chevy 4x4 was in dire need of a tune up and had no kickdown bracket. The truck would not…read moreaccelerate up hill due to the kick down cable not being hooked into a bracket. The truck also did not have a parking pawl rod and would not lock into park. Took it to M&M. They rebuilt the carburetor and returned the truck to me. The truck was running horribly, missing, stumbling. They never resolved the parking pawl issue. I took the truck back to M&M and they said they could not resolve the issue and told me I had to get my own kick down bracket and cable. They apparently had no idea how to resolve the kick down transmission issue or parking pawl rod issue. I took the truck to a great experienced mechanic in Missoula who found the points were fried, Distributor cap damaged, spark plugs damaged, spark plug wires cracked and old, they tuned the truck, hooked up the kick down cable, repaired the parking pawl rod, and the TRUCK RUNS GREAT! M&M is worthless. Had the truck at M&M two times and they could not figure out that the truck needed a simple tune up and simple transmission repair. M&M staff are very nice people, but totally inept at working on simple classic trucks.
