I'm updating my review in response to the reviews posted after mine. I am not someone who posts…read morenegative reviews lightly, and I desperately tried to provide a balanced review of my experience with Maria. In the review, I tried to explain the circumstances surrounding my experience. The lack of communication continued for a period of over four months, not merely a few weeks time. But I also hope that it was clear that I thoroughly enjoyed my photo session with her, and I think the end-product satisfied my expectations. Review sites like this provide a snap-shot of people's experiences over time so that consumers can make educated decisions about their purchases. In so doing, they can balance the excellent reviews against those which may be more critical. I in no way mean to tarnish Maria's reputation, she is an excellent photographer. But I hope that by providing honest feedback, she can tailor her future services and future customers can have all of the facts in front of them when they choose to use her services.

She took our order and our money and never delivered the photos!! She then moved out of town and wouldn't return our calls and emails. What a giant rip off!! She moved to Utah and changed her name. Go figure. She goes by Emma Rigby now. If she is still doing photography, stay away! She is a thief.

What a hero. We hired Elizabeth for my bridal shoot and for the photos for our destination wedding…read more She put in a lot of hard work and creative insight to make both events striking and beautiful. While she was well-prepared - she had specific ideas for shots and sought my input on which I would like most - she was also great in the spontaneous moments. I went back to my wedding photos and was so pleased to find that so much of our personality came through. She worked quickly - I had proofs back of my bridal shoot within days - and she brought my favorite one to the wedding for our reception. She also had our wedding photos up within days of our return from our honeymoon. I'm VERY happy with the memories she captured - we'll be displaying them in our home for a long time to come.

In the interest of full disclosure, Elizabeth Wright and I have been friends for several years…read more That said, I hired her and paid her to take pictures of my family and my son in particular near his high school graduation date. Elizabeth advised me on what we should wear well in advance of our portrait date, asked me what sort of setting(s) I would prefer, brought assistants to help with props and lighting, and generally was very professional. The photos are easily the best my family has ever had taken. We took them in a park near our home, and they are simply beautiful. Elizabeth quickly sent me the "best of" set -- in color, B&W, and sepia -- followed later by the full set. It was all online, so it was easy to pass along the link to friends and family for their admiration, and everyone could order their own prints. Super easy process. I could easily have spent a small fortune on the sweet moments she caught with me, my husband, and our two (often surly, but that day very sweet) teenage boys. She made sure she caught our personalities, taking pictures of us with props (a Douglas Adams book for my older son, a cell phone for my younger son, and my ever-present water glass for me). These are gorgeous pictures, and yet they reflect the lives of our very ordinary family. I would recommend Wright Photos unreservedly for family portraits, weddings, or any occasion that needs to be immortalized. Catch her quick before people find out what a gem she is and her prices go up!

When relationships evolve and time passes, these photographs become a testament to the enduring bonds we have forged throughout our lives. Therefore, it should be no surprise that Thing Two had her school photos taken by a professional photographer with her squad (yes, I AM THAT cheer mom). The photos taken by Angel Paige photography were taken at school in both team and individual photos. These photos are not only clear as shown in the review but aside from the clarity in these photos, the photos were delivered as promised and on time. In the first wedding, Allie stepped up and ran the show when our hired coordinator could not. She did not even hesitate to go above and beyond for us and make the best of the circumstances. So when we began planning our second wedding, we definitely considered them and once again the Peary family came through! They celebrated with us again and moved heaven and earth to accommodate Vietnamese customs and different requirements. After my initial call, he had sent a form to get my appointment booked for the next weekday. I arrived about 15-20 minutes earlier than my expected appointment and never brought it up, nor did he make me wait. He also offered to wear a mask if I felt more comfortable and offered me a bottled water. I never felt rushed, and he made it clear he could take as many photos as I'd like until I was satisfied. Highly recommend.

He was so prepared to the point he provided the class with binders that included all of the information he was showing on the screen. All we had to do was make a few notes if we wanted which allowed us to pay attention to what he was showing and saying. He is extremely patient and goes out of his way to be sure every student understands what he is saying. I don't care how long you've been photographing, I'm pretty sure you'll learn something new. If you're a beginner this is definitely the class to be in. I cannot recommend his classes enough. They are not overpriced and you get a lot of bang for your buck.
