I have been going to Karen for my lashes for 9 years. she is always professional! she always tries to be as accommodating as she possibly can be, when it comes to rescheduling. Her place is always clean and very peaceful. When my own lashes go through a phase of being weak, she tells me, and we remove the existing lashes and give my own a couple months to repair, she always takes the health of my lashes seriously. I have been going to Karen now for over a year! She has a wonderful, quiet salon that is always immaculate and extremely inviting. As for her talent with extensions, I could go on forever. I have been to other salons and all I can say is I will never go anywhere else. My appointments always result in beautiful lashes that stay perfect until I need a fill! I was really happy with her services until she started ignoring my calls and texts. I have an illness that sometimes keeps me bed bound and in need to reschedule. She wasn't sensative to this at all, and I'm highly disappointed. I worked in the beauty industry for years and to me this is not professional. I'm not much a of a reviewer but after my time with Karen today and seeing she only had 3.5 stars here (I'm absolutely shocked) I felt the need to post a positive review. This was the best lash service I have ever had! I've been to a couple other places around here and across the bridge and they can't compare. As a licensed cosmetologist, and learning how to do lashes myself, it was obvious to me that her knowledge and expertise in the lash industry is quite immense. Her customer service and professionalism is top notch too! I even received a personal text reminder from her this morning along with the address so I knew where I was going. Great location and very nice and clean. I arrived early since it was my first appointment and she was ready and waiting for me. Great consultation, great listener! Very nice lady, gentle touch, very personable and my lashes look absolutely gorgeous and better than ever!! I'm SO grateful and happy to find someone that actually knows how to do more than just a basic one size fits all classic lash! She customizes your lashes to suit YOU and maintain the health and integrity of your own natural lashes. Very important! I heard about Karen through a client of mine when I admired her lashes. I am a full time personal trainer in the area and I had never seen such natural beautiful lashes so I made an appointment with Karen ASAP. I have never worn makeup - as it does not work well in the gym - so the idea of having great eyes everyday without any time was definitely appealing. Karen, and her lashes, are the best! I've been wearing extensions for several years. For the last two years, I've been with Karen exclusively. I've had some nasty experiences with my lashes: poked in the eye, supporting hand pressing on my lid, technician talking on the phone to someone else the entire time, multiple lashes stuck together, lashes that fell out in two days..... Karen has always been accommodating and exceedingly professional. She goes out of her way to squeeze me in if I have something important coming up, she's always ready and cheerful when I arrive, she works quickly and gently. She is meticulous and careful, and never, ever pokes, scratches, pushes, or otherwise makes my eyes uncomfortable. She's a great conversationalist if that's what you want, or will sit quietly and work if meditation is more what you need. Her knowledge is current, and she is genuinely engaged with her profession. Her lashes are always beautiful and last much longer than any others I've had. I have stretched to four weeks between fills on occasion. I cannot recommend Karen highly enough. I some how did not post this back last summer but here you go. I had an appointment with her but it got canceled by her back in June and she never replaced my appointment, so i lost all the lashes which costed me over $250. I begged her to see me and nothing from her. I asked for suggestions who to go see and nothing. I always gave her the best tips, horrible! So disappointed that i spent so much money with her and for all of the lashes to fall out because she never gave me an appointment. I called and texted at least 7 times. Don't do that to people after they spent so much money with you, it's NOT nice. read more

Karen is absolutely awesome. I see her regularly and she always does phenomenal work. PLEASE READ BELOW: I see a few reviews here that note she was not attentive/ didn't respond or cancelled an appointment. I guarantee those posts are not giving you all the details, because my situation is as difficult to work around as it gets: I travel due to my job for 3 weeks at a time with ZERO NOTICE, meaning I often have to leave the same day I get an email and have to cancel or reschedule appointments on equally short notice. Sometimes I request to get seen earlier/ same day due to my unique work situations. Karen always does what she can to get me taken care of. Karen has been nothing but understanding, responsive and attentive. Incredibly professional and responds so quickly I often can get seen prior to my trips. Another VERY important thing to note: With me traveling for nearly a month at a time, I often have to get fills elsewhere around the country, (yes, I travel all over). This means I get to know other people's work as well across the US. Even with me seeing much pricier ladies with fancy salons, etc, Karen's work is still the best and if I could see her for every fill, I would. I had my lashes done elsewhere by probably a non-licensed person and ended up with a pretty big mess! Karen said it was the worst she'd seen in 8-years of working in the business. I checked out a lot of places online afterwards and loved what Karen wrote to a customer who had nearly the same experience I had. Karen was so kind and reassuring that I figured this HAS to be the person I need to go to! Boy, what an understatement that was! Karen is not only extraordinarily kind and very helpful in getting me in as quickly as possible, she is a true professional! She spent over an hour taking my troublesome lashes off, cleaned my eyes really, really well, and put on what she could under the circumstances; given that my existing lashes were short, damaged, and sparse. Karen was extremely gentle, kind in explaining what she was doing, reassuring that she could fix the mess and she was absolutely correct! I went unknowingly to a place without knowledge about getting someone who is licensed, talking over first what was about to happen and explain what I wanted. I learned valuable lessons from Karen and if anyone considers going wherever it is the cheapest that's exactly what you will get--cheap, poorly done lashes that might look good from a far distance but they could hurt like mine, they could have enough glue on them to seal up packages being sent through the mail, and you could get damaged lashes that could take a while to grow out and heal themselves. Karen, I cannot thank you enough--you did an outstanding job! No stinging from the glue carefully placed on, no heavy lashes that made it a challenge to open my eyes all the way, no sharp painful lashes scratching across my eyes every time I blinked--you were FABULOUS and I truly appreciate you and the wonderful work you did! My lashes are beautiful, soft, no glue clumps anywhere, very natural looking, and a relief knowing I was in such good hands. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to go to this wonderful woman! You won't regret it and I don't think people will even know that the beautiful lashes she puts on are not your own. I love them and am so happy the nightmare is over and I look like a human instead of a circus clown!
