From the sunny receptionist, Donna Fournier to DPT Connor Bourdreau, Matt McManus and Dave McGinty, I knew I was in good hands not only thru my shoulder rehab but then again for my total knee replacement. Professional, funny, kind and knowledgeable. They made you feel like family. That also goes for their wonderful assistant Jason Tamayoshi. Always there with a warm greeting and attentiveness that made you feel more like friend than patient as you came through the door. I can't say enough about how great of a physical therapist she is. Both my husband and I had gone to her for over 3 years seeing her for both running and Crossfit injuries. She was able to diagnose and treat accordingly. She was a one woman shop so she really spent that full hour with you working through the injuries. Each session ended with exercises that I needed to do at home. Being in the Crossfit community I am around a lot of injuries. I would always recommend Krista because she just had that touch to make people better. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. Any time I see Krista I feel significantly better after!! It was helpful to start seeing her as a preventative measure as she helped to make sure my muscles were well-balanced and loose (loose enough for a runner anyway!). She truly cares about her patients and I really like that she explores natural treatment methods that really work. It can be very nerve-racking going to a PT as you are trusting them with your body but I always feel 100% comfortable with Krista!

Nearly ten years later, this is still the only place I trust for physical therapy. The quality of care has been consistently excellent from day one. Before finding ProForm, I went through several physical therapists and pain management programs for chronic upper back and rhomboid pain. Nothing ever provided real or lasting relief. When I first met Chad Burnham, the owner, he brought me in right away, took the time to understand what I had been dealing with, and gave me hands-on treatment that helped immediately. That first session set the tone for all the years that followed. Chad is an exceptional physical therapist. His approach is targeted, knowledgeable, and based on real skill rather than generic exercises. Over the years he has successfully treated me for shoulder issues, knee pain including a meniscus tear, lower back pain, muscle strains, and recurring rhomboid tightness. Every visit feels purposeful and productive. ProForm also offers a convenient payment pack where you can prepay for visits. It makes check-in simple, especially if you come regularly, and the invoices can be submitted to insurance if your plan reimburses PT. What makes ProForm stand out is that Chad goes far beyond standard physical therapy. He understands fitness, nutrition, and overall physical health at a high level. He has transformed his own body, has competed in bodybuilding, and uses that knowledge to help his patients improve not just pain, but their overall physical condition. His advice has played a major role in my own weight loss and health improvement. The staff have been with him for many years, which says a lot about the environment he has built. They are friendly, organized, and always helpful with scheduling. The other physical therapists who work beside Chad maintain the same professionalism and quality of care. ProForm Physical Therapy is an elite practice. They deliver real results, care about their patients, and combine physical therapy, fitness, and nutrition in a way that truly makes a difference. I recommend them without hesitation.

Walking into this massage studio takes you away from the world outside. It's like walking into a…read morewarm and sacred space. When I moved to MA from NJ I tried many places and thought I'd never find a person to compare to the massage therapist I had back home. On my first visit I was suffering with a migraine caused by the stress and tension in my neck and shoulders. As Marty worked on me, he explained how the muscles in one area affect the muscles in the area I was having trouble with. I appreciated that because I've asked other massage therapists in the past and it seemed as though they just didn't know. He has studied anatomy and can explain everything about body mechanics to you. When my lower back acts up, his massage has helped way more than when I was going to physical therapy. After about a year of getting massages here, I can walk in and say, "please fix me!" and he does. He truly wants to help people feel better. It's always a personal experience and his personality is genuine. Marty is the absolute BEST! I have recommended him to many people. If your considering trying him you absolutely should!

Back in Aug 2020 when I was 60 yrs old, while sitting at my desk, I bent over to pick up a…read morepaperclip off the floor and I felt my back pop. I thought that I just pulled a muscle. I went immediately to my chiropractor down the street to see if he could fix it. I ended up getting an MRI on my back. I had herniated the disc and had a couple of bulged discs. I went to a back surgeon that wanted to operate on my back, with no guarantees that it would be fixed. I knew I didn't want surgery or cortisone shots. I've heard too many bad things about them. I told my chiropractor what was going on and he thought that maybe he could help me, but it would take a very long time. In the meantime, Marty Turner owner of the Sacred Tree Massage and Reiki in Newburyport, who I had briefly met through some mutual friends, heard what happened and reached out to me. I knew nothing about massage therapy but was willing to try. Between my chiropractor and Marty Turner, I was pretty much back to normal in 6 months. I own a horse farm, so I'm very active mucking stalls, carrying 5-gallon jugs of water and moving 40 lbs. of hay daily. In the fall I'm raking up about 30 yrds of leaves. I also love to hike and ride in the side x side ATVs. I'm now 65 and still doing all of these things and more. I do go regularly once a month for a 1/2 hr massage to loosen up the muscles. I tried in the beginning to stop going monthly, but found out quickly that I needed to go. If Marty was able to fix my back with the help of the chiropractor, then I suggest that people give him a chance. He is very kind, honest, professional and makes you feel at ease. He will listen intently as to what's going on and will do his best to resolve the issues. Keep in mind, things don't always get fixed with just one visit. It could take several for the muscles to relax and release.
