I have had multiple frustrating experiences with this office. At several gynecology appointments, I waited anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour past my scheduled time. While the doctor did take time to listen, the visits felt repetitive and my issues were never truly resolved.
Over the course of one year, I was prescribed antibiotics more than six times without a clear diagnosis or long-term solution. I initially came to this practice seeking a more holistic approach after repeated failures with my previous OB/GYN, but unfortunately experienced the same outcome here. After dealing with ongoing infection symptoms for a year and a half, I ultimately had to find a solution on my own when no doctor was able to help.
Communication with the office was extremely stressful. I called multiple times regarding lab results while in significant pain and was repeatedly told I would receive a call back the next day, which never happened. I was unable to reach anyone and did not receive my results until nearly two weeks later.
I was also threatened with collections over a $19 balance, despite the lack of resolution and repeated prescriptions that did not address the underlying issue.
Recently, I attempted to obtain my medical records and was told I would have to pay $1 per page (up to 25 pages) to have them printed. There is no secure electronic option to receive records directly. The only alternatives are manually downloading each document individually or having them faxed to another provider.
I do believe Karen is a good doctor and genuinely cares about her patients, but she was not able to help me resolve persistent BV and yeast infections. Treatment felt repetitive, and guidance around boric acid was unclear, which contributed to ongoing symptoms. Overall, the office's processes, communication, and administrative systems need significant improvement. read more
