Im sure they will have something to say to this review because we are still dealing with them. End of last year, They left us with more issues and didn't fix a single thing at any point actually. Even the toilet they broke and replaced wasn't fastened and it wobbled. They left a decent leak behind the toilet that wasnt there before and it was still not unclogged. We called the next day to tell them and ask for help because we have one bathroom and there are 5 of us. They started to charge us full price for a toilet similar to ours that cost $100 and charged $280 for it, then did us the "favor" of dropping the price to $150 because "it was no one's fault". In the world of services from real professionals, that's not how that works. They wanted close to $500 total. Told us they wouldn't come out again unless we put a clean out in aka more money. While figuring our money for the cleanout, we worked it out so we could come have them do just that and we could start making payments back and start paying for the clean out too. They stopped responding to us. Texed, called, no answer. This was all within 2 days. Went all weekend til we could call another plumber to come back out because obviously travis plumbing doesn't care and we felt scammed. Thankfully City Plumbing (with excellent customer service) came out a week later and fixed the clog and the issues travis left behind. We had to pay them, the ones who finished their jobs, what we wanted to pay to travis but the mess, the attitude, the leaving us stranded and the over charging of things when they didn't do not a thing helpful, we felt very frustrated, unheard and again scammed. After that we hadn't had the money for them and we also didn't think we should have to pay for the, discounted, yet still over priced toilet they broke. Last month they threatened a lien on the house and court. I was tempted but Thankfully it's tax time so we were able to and started paying. They tried to provide a service. It went horribly but they tried and i get paying for the attempt and time they gave though they refuse to remove the toilet and this is the only thing we have an actual issue with paying for. $500 bucks stuck down the drain they didn't unclog for literally nothing and they stress you out as a parting gift after they screw you, so yea they had to wait for payment. Please save yourself the hassle!! Reported them to the Better Business Bureau, they dug their heels in, of course. So just know if they break something your liable, not them. I'm happy to pay whats due and they did TRY to help but ultimately they left a bad taste in our mouth, by all of them we have encountered. Sorry, I'd rather prioritize plumber that's gonna FIX whats broken, answer our calls and be professionals not .. we'll you know, because its them that I'm calling when I need help with plumbing not travis.
