Our dog has a number of health issues and the physical assessment Dr Paige performed on him was excellent (more detailed than any other Vet we have used). Our friends recommended Glacial Ridge Vet for boarding our two 2 yr old Huskies. When I called to make reservations they were very accommodating and had space available. The next morning we dropped off the joys and Tracy was very pleasant and friendly. She helped us get checked in and even called our vet to get some vaccine certificates faxed over. Since I didn't have a copy she gave me one. When we came back the next day to pick the boys up Tracy again helped us with a smile and friendly attitude. I'm very pleased and happy with the great service and people. I highly recommend this great place!! Thank you for all you guys do!!

After another failed relationship, I decided to put my love and energy into something that would…read moreyield positive results. I was looking to help a homeless animal as a Valentine's Day present to myself. It seemed that the cats in Minneapolis and St. Paul were either maladjusted, or too tired from being bothered all day to show any personality or affection (kind of like the guys I've dated). My mother told me about PetFinder.com. She adopted her mobility assistance dog from the site. I did a search and decided to go look at a Siamese mix at this location. Unfortunately, the cat ended up having a serious health problem that had just been confirmed the day I drove out to get him. While waiting I had the chance to go into the shelter and meet the other kitties. All of them were very entertaining and had vivid personalities. You could tell they had been cared for well, but hadn't been over stimulated. I found them all to be much nicer than any of the cats in the Twin Cities' shelters. They didn't try and push me to take the sick cat, nor did they try and dump a second cat on me. I had ample time to visit with them all and made a decision on a seemingly mellow striped male. He is definitely not mellow, but he's one of the best cats I've ever had. He has a great personality and we cuddle every night. This relationship has lasted 1 year, 7 months, 19 days and counting. I have a good feeling it is going to break the record.

Josh the kennels owner told me she was lost and he was sorry to say that the kennel was not responsible for lost dogs. While she was in the care of Holden Kennels I received text messages from Josh asking if I would consider breeding my dog. In this conversation we discussed how valuable of a dog she was because of her rarity, he then went on about how we could make a lot of money. I thought about it but then decided that I was not interested in his "deal". 2 Months later Josh was calling with a story of how she was lost. His story never added up to me but to this point I can not prove him wrong. He will not refund any of my payment in which my dog was never returned. Holden Kennels has not returned my dog or given me and money in compasation.

I had an extraordinarily positive experience with Midwest Custom Aquarium and its owner Chris…read moreBoelke. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful aquarium executed seamlessly by true professionals. My project was a custom 3,000-gallon tank with fiberglass structure and acrylic windows, approximately 10' x 8' x 5'. I reached out to Midwest initially because of the abundant endorsements they have received from MonsterFishKeepers.com members (folks who really know what they are talking about). Chris spent a great deal of time with me on multiple phone calls, understanding my needs and helping me solve a plethora of challenges across all aspects of the build, from aquarium/stand/plumbing design, to project planning, to the actual execution and logistics. There were dozens of details - some large, some nitpicky - that were important to me, and I am sure that other aquarium builders would have become annoyed at the number and specificity of those details. But Chris, admirably, never once complained or sounded irritated; he was dedicated to addressing my needs the whole way through. And in the end, the final product was even better than I had hoped for. Chris is incredibly knowledgeable and a true problem solver, and he loves and takes pride in his work - all of which should inspire confidence in any prospective customer that he has both the skill and will to deliver an excellent product.
