Verified scalper. Do not buy your tickets from them. Tickets are more than double in price and there are no guarantees of seats or validity.

bought a groupon ($30 for unlimited 6pm-midnight) thinking it was a great deal 50% off. We were…read morefairly disappointed when we went: 1. The place is pretty empty. When we got there at 6pm, we were the only people there. Eventually two other groups of people arrived, but I thought it would be more packed if they say it's one of the best go karting places. The ad definitely did a lot of fluffing; it's not as great as the description or pictures seem. 2. Location is hard to find. The first time we went, we got lost and we were an hour late. not only roads have 2 names, but entrance wasn't clear, and you don't see the kartway sign until you drive all the way to the end of the parking lot and around the corner. 3. Because location was hard to find, we were an hour late (7pm). When we got there, people booked their time slots and we had to wait almost 2 hours for the next heat. Since bookings are first come first serve, we couldn't book it in advance. Sucks because we had to plan another day to come again. 4. Staff is friendly, but they seemed bored of doing the same thing. It sucked for me because as we were getting ready for our first lap, they told me i wasn't tall enough to ride in the senior karts (even with two booster seats), meaning i couldn't ride with my friends and i had to race alone. or i could get a refund. sucked either way, so i watched my friends do a lap. It was after a while where they were able to find that i could fit in one of the smaller the senior karts. Karts weren't smooth, but i guess it's better than not racing at all. 5. Karts are not all the same speed. I went in kart #15 and #6, and they're both jerky, and bumpy. you would press the gas, nothing happens unless you press it really hard. maybe it's just me, but the break pedals aren't very sensitive either. 6. Helmet wise, we had to wear a red hairnet underneath. That wasn't an issue, but I have a small head, and the smallest helmet they had (junior, medium) was too big for me! when i was racing, the bottom of the helmet would be where my nose is at. Had to constantly pull it down. After an hour, we were pretty much done. It's a small race track, maybe 6 turns? I think i'd rather race a real car or go somewhere with more energy in the atmosphere. I gave it a 2 star and not a 1 because service was decent and we came here for karting and that's what we got. But overall experience is not very impressive, even with the discount. All in all, i'm not coming back here.

I'm STILL a fan because what I'm about to say will even the stars out a bit. The BAD was that when…read moreassigned starting positions, it is not an option which cart you get to sit because I keep wanting to be in front or behind my buddy within a group of 4-5 of us and was pretty much dependant on us to WAVE others past so we can be racing against each other instead of having someone else inbetween our action. The GOOD is that on Monday[2 for 1($29.00)] it was relatively quiet so around 9pm we were pretty much the only group as the place close at midnight and other patrons were families that only did a SINGLE race or the 2 for 1 deal while my group went for UNLIMITED. The downside is that the tracks and carts are relatively unused, therefore not all carts will have that same performance and TRACTION. Especially if you race within the first few races of the place opening 5:30pm, then it's guaranteed that you will SKID all over as both the tires and track are fresh. Hope that helps!

Hrrmmm. I'm…read morewaffling between 2 and 3 stars and ultimately landing on 2 because tho Roger's Stadium was the location of one the 2 best nights of my life but since that wholly had to do with the band, not the venue, I'll stick to an objective review of the place: this was one of the worst and weirdest venues I've ever been to in over 30 years of concert going in multiple countries. We came for the two nights of Oasis. I knew things would be a bit dodgy given the stadium wasn't even standing when we bought our tickets 9 months out from the show but even leading up to the week of the show I didn't know what to expect. All I had heard is that it's in the middle of nowhere, getting in and out is a nightmare, and to wear comfortable shoes. ALL TRUE! I hesitate to use the word "stadium." It's more like a series of bleachers with a stage on one end (Liam Gallagher called it "legoland" and he wasn't wrong!). Word on the street is they're going to be using this space for up to 4 years and I'll be surprised if the current infrastructure lasts even 2. It's also located in the middle of a former airfield. So walking from the train or any of the main roads is basically a mile/1.6km walk down what is literally a landing strip. There is nothing around, just concrete and fields! Since there isn't much around they built their own "fan plaza" which opens an hour/2 hours before gates to the actual stadium open. And I'll admit this was kind of fun since it lent a bit of a festive air to the already buzzing Oasis reunion vibes. Oasis took full advantage of the plaza, setting up multiple merch stores, painting the ground with logos and "Live 25" and also had multiple photo ops throughout. The venue itself also has a lot of food options and a small Ferris wheel. Now, the food options aren't particularly GOOD but they're there! Because we got there when fan plaza opened we were able to get bracelets to be in the front section of the GA floor the first night. They don't let you take any bottles or anything in, instead they give you plastic cups to pour your water/other drinks into. So things were a little chaotic as folks were grabbing cups and pouring beer and whatnot. We didn't have drinks to take in so it wasn't bad for us but it was kind of annoying. I get they don't want people throwing bottles on stage but man, all those single use cups on top of the cans and bottles? So wasteful! Anyway, the show was incredible. Our spot was aces. It started pouring rain half way through and I will say this is one time the concrete was actually ok because it didn't get muddy! Fireworks were shot off without a hitch and the crowd was good vibes and full of joy the whole time. Night two we came to the venue later so we weren't in the pit and stood a little further back but that vantage point was still pretty good. Exiting both nights was the biggest pain I think. Night one was worse since we were in the front, meaning last out. It's just a giant crush of people all making their way to one exit: the train station. They had staff essentially playing red rover with us letting groups through in chunks to keep the stations from getting too overwhelmed. I will say the trains did as best as they could given the volume and rides out are free which kept the line moving pretty good. There was no real easy way to get to our hotel from here so in the end we took a train to a station a little further out and grabbed a Lyft there the rest of the way. Oh, also the bathroom situation? Not great! Port-o-potties galore. And my husband reported that they did have a "men's room" which were essentially a line of open air urinals, like a trough. Cool cool! As we were exiting all the fencing was lined with dudes just free peeing so, that was fun. Ugh. So yeah, not my favorite. Props to the staff though who made a pretty crappy venue run as smoothly as it could be. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. It's just the place is SO WEIRD!! The shows themselves were incredible but that was in spite of where they were held, not because of it.

Pros: - Nice to have a first time outdoor concert venue - The bleacher like seating was surprisingly pretty secure - Water stations all around the venue - Nice and big, so never felt crammed - Sound systems were pretty good Cons: - It's really far at downsview area, where there isn't a lot of transportation to get to the venue - It's a far walk from the station/ drop off points to enter into the venue. It's at least a 15-25 minute walk minimum - Getting in and out of the venue with a vehicle is a nightmare! - No real toilets. All porta potties/ nicer porta potties Overall, still happy about this venue, however it's not accessible at all in my opinion.

Bite it, Strunk Jr.) So, the championship bout was last week: Gore Gore Girls vs. Chicks Ahoy! in a battle most thought the Gore Gores would easily win...Hell, I had kind of got used to their dominance, and those blow-out scores (as noted in my review). I was hoping for a fun game. What'd I get? Sheer domination by the Chicks Ahoy! WOO! The game started with relative equality, but then the Gore Gore's "Bambi" took to the track for her first jam. Bambi is one of the league's best offensive players, lanky and awkward but fast and agile. Did she rack up a 20 point jam for a big early lead? No. Not even close. She got *brutalized*. I mean rocked, and the Chicks sent a defining early message: the Gore Gores were gonna get hurt at every turn, and every point was gonna come with a price. And it just got worse from there as the Chicks built up a sizeable lead while mercilessly punishing the Gore Gores. By game's end, the Gore Gores were down (I think) three players, and stars Bambi and Dust Bunny had taken turns as blockers due to the injury depleted lineup. The score differential was insurmountable, and the Gore Gores were simply playing for pride. Bambi suffered badly in this game, beaten up every time she took to the track, and to see her come out and serve as a blocker late in the game with the score out of reach... damn. That's guts, man, determination and heart all the way. My hat's off to the Chicks -- especially Mega Bouche, Nasher the Smasher, and Marmighty, the gals who really set the tone for the game and punished the defending champions en-route to becoming the ToRD 2011 Champs! I can't wait for next season!

I almost gave 2 stars, but…read moreI can see how this event could have been better, and with my knowledge, you will learn. 1) They only serve beer. I'm pretty sure the girls around me (roller derby type girls, if you will) were all fine with beer, because they are tough and strong and confident in their womanhood. But I'm not, and I like to drink a sweet drink outta a straw. So keep this in mind, and if you're like me, bring a water bottle with your own beverage choice inside. 2) It's pretty expensive. Ours was a double header, so I guess it is like 4 HOURS of entertainment, but you're also sitting on a metal bench for that amount of time. $18 at the door. Each. So....more than a movie, which is pretty much my bench mark for "things that are too expensive to do on a date". 3) Parking is free. Everyone was super nice and the audience was totally into it. 4) It's way in the middle of no where. For me, at least. And everyone else but the guys who work at Idomo. 5) They sold my friend 50/50 tickets and then I said, "You should find out when the draw is," and then they said it was basically 3 hours from then. I understand WHY they do that - so that everyone wants to stay WELL past when they would - but they should mention this when selling, because it left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Or maybe that was the beer.

The two day festival is held at Donsview Park just north of the downtown core, but there are severe limitations to parking and ride shares so public transportation is the most logical method of getting to the festival grounds. However, given that thousands of people enter and exit the festival at the same time, there are long waits for the subways and busses and it can get very hot and sweaty on a summer night. This years acts were great, I saw performances by up and comers like Tyla Yaweh, Jaden Smith, Rich the Kid, Boogie, Loud Luxury, and bigger headliners like Skrillex who put on a magical fireworks display with his high energy set. I was disappointed with the lateness of headliner Cardi B who lived up to her diva personality, but you can hardly blame festival organizers for the actions of the high profile performers. Looking forward to next years line-up. The festival keeps growing and growing every year.
