Selection: I'll say from my personal experience, if I need something and Best Hardware in Marmet, WV doesn't have it, they'll check to see if they can order it or where I could go that wouldn't have me driving everywhere. (Super appreciate that! Thanks y'all!) Value: I like the prices, although some things can be just a tad bit more, I'd rather pay Best Hardware, than go plum into Cross Lanes or somewhere like that. Also want to add: Friendly & pretty quick service! I love the fact that Best Hardware is in Marmet, WV & although one of the bigger corporate stores is about 6-8 miles further down the road (I live opposite way), I'd rather just stop and check Best Hardware first!

My daughter needed to move from Kanawha City to Quarrier Street. She was moving from a two-story…read moretownhouse to a historic apartment in the East End. Her new apartment is a third-story walk-up. Her initial movers fell through at the last minute. I called Move 4 Less on a Friday, trying to find movers for the next morning. I spoke with the owner, Ben. He was able to give me an estimate over the phone after asking me a series of questions about what needed to be moved. I also disclosed about all the stairs associated with her new apartment. Ben charged an extra fee for the stairs, and after seeing those movers climb those stairs again and again, the charge was more than fair. Two workers and a large truck arrived ten minutes before the 10 a.m. appointment time. The workers were diligent, friendly and so hard-working. They loaded the truck in just over two hours. Then we caravanned over the river to the East End. It took an hour longer than the four hours we had been invoiced for to unload the truck and carry everything up three flights of stairs. Again the workers wasted no time, were friendly and did not complain about the endless steps even though I was complaining loudly! The workers took apart two beds and reassembled them in the new place. They also assisted us in taking a ratty sofa and a broken full-sized portable dishwasher to the trash. At the end of the move, my daughter gave the workers a check for the invoiced amount, and cash for the additional hour. The company accepts cash, check or credit card. Our family was very pleased with our experience with Move 4 Less. They were accommodating, professional and fair. They gave good value for our money. We would use this company again in a heartbeat. It had a visible antifreeze leak between the cylinders. Also, the shift indicator on the dash was showing incorrect position of the gears and sometimes a delayed indication of what gear you were in while traveling. At times it would work find. I left the mc with them and ask to be notified when they made the repairs. On or about 12/28/2025 I called and ask for an update. I was told they had cleaned the antifreeze off the cylinders and was watching for it to return. And they hadn't test driven it yet for the shift indicator problem. On 2/17/2026 I called for an update and was told the repairs were complete, but the tech was out of town for training and wouldn't be back until the following week. He wanted to test drive the mc to make sure the repairs were fixed. I suggested that I would come up and test drive and if the repairs corrected the problem, I would bring the mc home, if not I would leave it there so the tech could follow up. I was told by the service associate Matt that he would call me right back. I received a call from M.S Lowe the other service associate that there had not been any repairs make to the mc. The tech had only done a meter readout on the shift indicator problem and confirmed with Kawasaki that the meter readings were correct. I told M.S. Lowe I would come and get the mc, I believe after TWO MONTHS it was time for me to try something different. I stopped and discussed this matter with GM Bobby Baldridge before leaving. I was hoping he would offer a positive resolution. To my surprise he showed very little interest and didn't offer to correct the problem in any fashion. My conclusion on this matter. BUYERS BEWARE; THERE IS NO INTEREST IN PROVIDING YOU WITH A CORRTION TO A PROBLEM WITH YOUR MACHINE. I BASE THIS CONCLUSION ON HOW I WAS TREATED. GOOD LUCK TO OTHER BUYERS
