I understand that they are a business, but I feel that it is shameful that one would be in a health care related field and yet not have a servant or caring heart. I was saddened by this experience. Regardless of how busy her schedule might be, I always feel that I am her only patient and never feel rushed. I was never keen on going to the dentist for the years prior to 1987. When I go to Beaverbrook Dentistry, I am greeted most warmly, the wait time is negligible and I always know that I am in the most capable of hands. The facilities are immaculate; the Covid protocols are strictly enforced, which makes me feel reassured. In summary, I consider myself most fortunate to be one of their patients. After having our former dentist since 1992 one year after his graduation it was a very difficult decision to leave his practice. This decision was based on his changing office hours. We decided on Beaverbrook Dentistry since all of my son in laws family attends there and they have had nothing but the highest praise for this practice. Sherry, the dental hygienist was excellent. Dr. Anna, who I met, has the most pleasing personality and I look forward to my appointment with her December 2nd. I would like to add my daughter attended yesterday too. While waiting for her I was offered coffee and was pleasantly surprised that they even had decaf since this was late in the afternoon and past my regular coffee time. Recently I went on a hunt to look for a good dentist in Ottawa and I happen to luck out since its…read moreclose to my work and the best one I've ever had (out of 4). I am of course speaking off Susan Daftary and her amazing staff, at the Terry Fox Dental Centre. I was having sharp pain in one of my tooth so I walked into the clinic and I got an examination the same day. Two days later Dr Daftary was playing tug o' war with my wisdom tooth and well the tooth lost. Dr Daftary is very polite and takes her time to explain everything to the patient. As far as skill goes, she is absolutely amazing. I felt no pain in getting my wisdom tooth removed and I was back at work 10 minutes after my procedure. She is also very knowledgeable and will go out of her way to accommodate the patient. I wish I could say I won't be going back but I think that's just wishful thinking. At least I know that when I return, I'll be in good hands.
