I was looking for jewelry shops in my local area, because I wanted a pair of earrings for my wife. I was coming in with a pair of gemstones that had personal meaning to me, and I was hoping that I could get a pair of earrings made. I sent the Kanans an email and they said that it'd probably be easier to provide me an accurate quote if I came in. So, I brought the stones in and got a quote from James to get a nice pair of platinum earrings that would securely hold the stones without also obscuring them. James said they'd be done the following week. And they were, but the quote was wrong... It came in $20 cheaper! Amazing! I was shocked that in this day and age someone was actually still doing quotes where the customer could be pleasantly surprised by getting the product for cheaper. The earrings came out great, they were cheaper than quoted, and they were done on time. What more could you ask for from a jeweler? read more

I found Kanaan Design when I needed to get my wedding ring resized as it was too small after 30 years. Instead of taking material from the ring, they cut it and added gold and "soldered" it together. The repair is not visible at all. I now can wear my ring everyday. They also replaced a diamond in my band and did an excellent job. My rings were beautiful after they completed the work. Their pricing is very fair and they completed all work in less then a week. They are also very nice to work with. I would definitely recommend them for your jewelry repair. read more
