This cute retro themed laundrymat is located off of Leverett. I have been here a few times this…read moremonth to wash some comforters and bulky items and was happy with how clean it was, the AC inside was cold, and there were plenty of washers and dryers available. The decor is cute with the checkered floor and fun names on the machines. I will say it is pretty pricey, around $4 for a washer and $2 for a dryer and it only does 30 minutes so sometimes you have to do two dryer cycles. But they have free soap and a vending machine for snacks and extra laundry items. There is a bathroom, they are open 24 hrs, and they have a decent amount of chairs and barstools at a counter to sit at. They do have a rewards card you can buy from a machine for $1 and it says you "get 10% off" but what it actually does is give you an extra 10%..so we put $100 on it thinking it would charge $90 but it charged $100 and gave us $110. Also old reviews showed they served food here. Unfortuantely they do not anymore. Next door is now Leverett Lounge but Benny's Bagels is conveniently across the street.

The prices are reasonable and there is free WiFi (it's a little quirky though). The patrons here are all equally friendly and happy to help if it's your first time visiting. I was grossly overcharged for some simple ironing of clean table linens. The prices were raised with no notification. After multiple phone calls just to get the manager to call me back and follow up, she said there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to the owners and that is still yet to happen four days later. I would give them a B on quality. The necks of the collared shirts always look incredibly shoddy. I would never recommend this company to anyone EVER!!!Not the MLK branch or the College ave branch…read morein Fayetteville. Their owner is a disrespectful older man who has no regards for their clients, longtime loyal or new. Long story short, I've only ever used them for dry cleaning services for the two years I've lived in NWA. I gave them a Helmut Lang jacket priced at $750 to clean, they advised that they send out leather to be cleaned by another company, which was fine. This was August 2018. After a month of bluffing, over 10 in-store visits to follow up and a major bs story they were trying to sell, they finally came clean and said my jacket was actually destroyed and they will not compensate me in any way for what they have done. So Jim Selman (the disgusting owner) condescendingly apologized April 2019 and said I can take him to small court and I should basically fu*k off!!!! So I will do just that. The thing is, if he had genuinely apologized and said we'd discount your next few services or comp x amount of cleaning for you. All would be forgiven and they would still have a customer. But no one should be dealt with like that by a business and by its owner especially when you've been nothing but loyal and consistent with your business to them. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.
