I was a little early for my 1pm appointment anyway and as she explained the mix up, she stated that a masseuse would be available in 30 minutes, appologised, and said that she'd only charge me for the 30 minute price as appose to the 55 minute price I'd book and was going to receive. Now I mean everyone likes freebies yes but I think this type of customer service, where they admit they were at fault and make amends by doing something to offset them inconveniencing you is lost nowadays and a lot of the time you're made to feel like you're the one at fault. Having worked in the customer service field I get how important it is but also how easy it is to forget about it and think 'why does it matter' well this review proves it does with a 4 star rating! On this visit I had a 55 minutes Deep-Tissue massage due to my increasingly fragile muscles (too much football) and I left feeling great. Deep-Tissue massages can be a little different and less relaxing as they are digging into you a little more but I did feel surprisingly supple afterwards! Normal price for this massage would be £50 and I highly recommend it - just don't book online ;)

I have never ever had a facial before so this was a whole new experience for me!…read more For my mum's birthday, I wanted to spoil her a bit and try something new. For the last birthday, we learnt how to make sushi at Samsi in Spinningfields which was hilarious! My mum had never had a facial either and I didn't know if she'd ever had her nails done, so I booked us in for a mini facial (you pick two areas yourself) and a polish and preen manicure each. Upon arrival, you will smell delightful incense and be seated in very comfy chairs... We had to wait in turn for the facial as we chose the micro dermal diamond facial - there is only one machine for this. Boy was it worth it though! I was even advised upon asking the nail technician that this was the best one to choose. I was nervous at first but the calming music that carries throughout the building and the confident person doing the facial, explaining everything each step of the way, is more than enough to help you relax! He explained that he would be cleansing the skin first, then applied a rough scrub to my face, and notified me he would be turning on the machine and not to be alarmed. ...Machine?! Oh you mean the quiet whirring of the box next to you with the tiny suction wand? Oh it's like it sandblasts my skin? It felt like a tiny little suction tip moving across my T-Zone! Amazing! And if you hadn't had enough of the revelation of your skin feeling like it can actually breath afterwards, wait until he shows you the container of dirt that's been sucked out of your pores! Ewwww!! But so good to see and feel how much clearer your skin is :) I went back through to have my nails done whilst my mum went in - the guy doing the facials was great and gave us all the advice we needed - you can have these facials every 11 days if you're trying to target an area of blackheads - I totally need to do this... The girl doing my nails was lovely, advised me on a colour because I was so indecisive and the bright blue looks lovely on :) If you're in need of a nails scrub up like we were, the preen and polish is definitely for you! Cuticles treated, trimmed if need be, nails polished, filed and lacquers of polish. 3 days later and they still look good :) I will definitely be back for more facials! Go take a visit and spoil yourself!

I'm now looking forward to my next training session and I can't recommend this place enough. The price point was incredibly low at £25 for an hour, that's the cheapest massage I've had - as I said previously, this was more productive than therapy sessions from my coach and he charges £60/hour...

A good friend was burning the candle at both ends and could not unwind, so she visited the White Rooms in Lymm village where she had Reiki and hot basalt stone massage. I am not an expert and really do not know one chakra from another, but I do know that she came out de-stressed and almost serene. The anxieties have disappeared and she is back to her former dynamic self. Her healer was Linda Parker who is an expert practioner in holistic treatments, offering reflexology, hopi ear candles and facials amongst other procedures. My friend said Lynda is a lovely and warm person who immediately put her at ease. White Rooms is not just a place to relax and balance your energy though, sports physiotherapists are also resident there, applying their skills to sports injuries, back pain, post operative rehabilitation and other conditions. It is a lovely cottage like building beside the Bridgewater Canal and the receptionist is very friendly. There is no worry that I will suffer from a sport's injury but I might just pop along for a facial and a spot of spiritual healing on the side.

The centre is set in a house on a leafy road in Whalley Range just opposite the Spire hospital. It has a cozy rather than clinical feel to it I went for a 90 minute aromatherapy massage with Emma. The consultation was based around my muscular concerns and any aches or tension I had. Emma then asked what oils I wanted and whether I wanted relaxing, uplifting or a tension soothing oil mix. Oils blended the massage commenced with Emma working her magic on my lower back and shoulders, then thighs, calves and ankles ( I never knew that soooo much tension could exist in your ankles!) moving on to arms, neck, face and scalp. I came out feeling pleasantly relaxed and peaceful and at £48 for the treatment it was very reasonable. I've booked to go back again in 2 weeks time and may see if I can get a cheeky Indian head massage in in between. Would definitely recommend giving the centre a try it's good for your well being!

I received absolutely no response from the school and still haven't as of today (5th April). This is absolutely unacceptable. They have £550 of my money and have taken no responsibility for what is going on. I just hope that I can get the money back by going through my bank.
