Like Bayo, Kamiseta was that place years ago where I would look inside from time to time just to look at the clothes - I loved the colors, the feel of the fabrics, and the girly accents. While they look stylish, they look classic too so the clothes are something you can wear a long time.
While I loved browsing the store, I didn't really get to buy clothes from Kamiseta. Instead, I bought sneakers. Denim sneakers, to be exact, which went well with every pair of jeans I wore then, or actually, with almost anything. They were comfortable and lasted more than five years. I'm not sure if they still sell that, though.
Now I'm not too keen on Kamiseta and have taken to department stores and tiangges, especially Christmas tiangges, but I believe teenagers would still love them.
And yes, it's also a proudly Filipino brand - Kamiseta does sound Filipino, though I admit I was confused at first because of the Caucasian models on Kamiseta billboards. read more
