As of 3/20/2026, PLEASE FIND YOURSELF SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO‼‼‼ I went in for my appointment on Friday 3/20/26. Saw the nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner can't write a prescription for narcotics. I had knee replacement surgery on 2/27/26, with PT 3 times a week. So I need a form of pain medicine to manage the pain. Well, my appointment was at 7:50am at the Port Orange, FL location. Had the appointment paid my copay and went on about my day. At 4:00pm I noticed that I hadn't received a notification from my pharmacy to pick up my prescription. Florida Pain Management closes at 4:30pm. I called and spoke with someone named Sarah. She stated she would put a rush on getting my information into the doctor so that it got to the pharmacy in time before closing. Well would you guess what???? YOU GOT IT. The office closed. I HAVE NO MEDICATION TO TAKE. That leaves me to try and reach my surgeon OR to go to the nearest ER for pain medication to at least get me through the weekend. WHY SHOULD I INCUR A ER BILL FOR A PRESCRIPTION THAT FLORIDA PAIN MANAGEMENT WAS PAID TO WRITE???? Why should I be jumping through hoops at all??? I should be at rest. Instead, it feels like a train has taken my leg, my blood pressure is sky high and of course FLORIDA PAIN MANAGEMENT HAS NO AFTER HOURS CALL LINE FOR EMERGENCY SITUATIONS THAT THEY CAUSED. Florida Pain Management needs to find an on site physician so that ppl will not have this issue and they can receive their medication on time. I have only received one treatment for Dr. Stephenson (I was on vacation when I visited her for treatment) but I had been carrying around pain behind my shoulder blades for years, and it would flare up, get better, flair up again. I had seen every doctor I could, had x-rays, did physical therapy and even visited an arthritis specialist to have blood tests done to try and find anything that relieved the pain, but nothing did. Beth took the time not only to listen to my complaints and health history, but to ask deeper and more meaningful questions that lead to finding the causes of all of the pain in my shoulder blades. In one treatment, I felt the pain leave my shoulder, down through my fingertips, like hot lava pouring out. The relief was amazing!! I had been walking around with all of that pain for years, and with just a few needles, through balancing acupuncture she made it all melt away. 2 months later and the pain still hasn't returned. I now know to seek out a traditional Chinese balancing method Acupuncturist. Balancing the body this way works in so many powerful ways and is just as healing as therapy, and more so than massages, surgery, or any other treatment you can try.
