They were one of the companies to jump on the hail storm bandwagon with the storm that came through this last April. This was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. Every single step of the way I had to call and call, and endlessly hound them to complete the work on my home. They of course made taking my insurance payment priority and then vanished. When they did manage to show up, they damaged my property during each one of their visits and completed extremely poor quality projects, regardless of what was asked of them. They couldn't even stain a fence correctly with large gaps completely missed. They cracked my windows, left massive gaps, holes, and cracks on all installs. Rude and entitled during each conversation. They are a totally unprofessional and dangerous to use company. The owner, Kevin Johnson, screams obscenities and threats towards his customers when asking him to follow through with what was promised, while his partner Billy Helmke will say anything to you in order to get you to sign their "contract". Afterwards they will take the money, complete only the bare minimum over many, many months and leave you high and dry. One of the worst contractors I have ever seen in my entire life. Never got my Mirror for guest bathroom. Never got my seat in my guest shower. Hand rails are way too big and bulky for my guest shower. And placed incorrectly.Towel rails are right above the toilet. Those need to be re placed with smaller rails. Never came back to finish unpainted door in master bathroom, and fuse box. Needs to come finish caucking around the tile and base trim. Left paint stains on my carpet and patio. Does not return my calls/text.

I had 2 exterior doors sticking and several cracks in my house. He suggested 24 piers. I had 3 other companies come out. Biggest one in Fort Worth and the biggest one in Dallas plus another one a friend used. Everyone was all over the place. The big guy in Fort Worth sent out an engineer. I hated to do it but I paid for my own engineer to look to. The big guy's engineer didn't agree with his assessment. Both engineers agreed with DLR Construction Company. With their BBB record. The choice was easy. They are a general contractor so when I remodel my kitchen, it's his!!! Great job Doug!! J Garrett
