Alii Kauai Weddings did the best job helping me plan my dream elopement from Texas. I had never been to Kauai or even on a tropical vacation anywhere and they were always available to answer my questions and helped me plan everything out exactly like I wanted. The moment that I realized I had definitely made the right decision hiring them was when our flight got delayed causing us to miss our connecting flight and we got stuck in Los Angeles the night before our wedding! It was so stressful and I don't know what I would have done without Jessica. I called her and explained what happened and that we would not be able to get a flight until the next day ( Sunday, our planned wedding day). She made a miracle happen and was able to move our wedding from Sunday to Monday: flowers, cake, videographer, photographer, officiant, wedding coordinator and all! I couldn't believe it and was so grateful to not have to go from the airport straight to our wedding! The vendors that she works with were exceptional. The flowers were better than I could have imagined. The cake was delicious. Our pictures and video were perfect. Our officiant was wonderful. The coordinator onsite was helpful and everything ran very smoothly. I couldn't recommend this company more.

We wanted a sunset ceremony at Shipwrecks beach on the south end of Kauai. I must have emailed 5 wedding planners to start with and she is the only one that responded. I'm so glad she was the one because she responded to every single email, always within 24 hours. Everything she has listed online is accurate, pricing for everything is upfront. I wanted to upgrade my bouquet, and my husbands lei, also got leis for guests. I added flowers for my hair pretty close to last minute, I sent her pinterest ideas that I loved and got exactly what I wanted. Seriously, my bouquet could not have been any more beautiful. We chose Harneet for our photographer, so far we have our sneak peek of photos and love them all. I can't wait to see the rest. Kahu Chuck was our officiant and he made our ceremony very Hawaiian, which is exactly what we wanted. Meghan did my hair and makeup and I felt so beautiful. She did an amazing job, exactly what I wanted and I really didn't want to wash it off. My hair stayed perfectly, even with the heavy flower comb in my thin hair, how she did that i'll never know. The day of I emailed Jessica with a request for 2 chairs, we had 2 guests over 70 that we wanted to make sure had a place to sit, she arranged that and Harneet brought them from the north side with him. It never crossed my mind previous that we would want any chairs. He also had umbrellas in case it rained, but the sun was out and the wind died down. After all was said and done, we had the best day. We basically showed up and it was all taken care of. If you are looking for a wedding planner, this is the group you want to go with. Honestly, if I ever got to do it again, we'd use Jessica, she's very professional and great at what she does. I referred her to our flight attendant on our way home who is wanting to get married on Kauai. I really can't say enough good things!

From our initial contact with his wife, Addy, through the receipt of our final video package in the mail, Julian and his team completely blew us away. Our big day took place at Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute on Oahu. It was clear from the outset that Julian and his crew had filmed there a gazillion times. They knew exactly where all the good spots were, took amazing shots of us, and also incorporated some stunning (and well-timed!) footage of our silhouettes at sunset, waves crashing against the shore, etc. The crew was also really mindful of creating symmetry in the video. When my bridesmaids and I were on our way out of the bridal suite, we were on a tight schedule and debating whether we had time to do a quick champagne toast. One of Julian's camera dudes commented that the groomsmen did a whiskey toast so it would be good if we did our champagne one. And so we did, and boy, did it look good on film when they cut the footage back to back! Their skill was especially evident when they played our same day edit (SDE) at our reception for us and our guests. Within seconds of the SDE playing, my eyes started welling up with tears. They had done such a beautiful job of capturing the many emotions we were feeling that day that I couldn't hold it in! We were already so impressed by their portfolio and knew their videos were amazing, but the end result was still so much more than we could've ever hoped for. We got countless compliments from friends and family about how much they liked our SDE, how well it captured our special day, and how they were impressed by how fast Julian and his team worked. One of my bridesmaids loved their work so much that she asked Julian to come out to San Francisco to film her wedding this year, too! Several months after our wedding, we received our final package with all the footage of the ceremony, reception, first dance, cake cutting, speeches, bouquet, and garter toss. The quality was superb and the footage well cut. One year later on our anniversary, we sat down and watched it all again. We loved going through all the videos and reliving one of the best days of our lives together. And a year later, despite having watched the SDE a whole bunch of times throughout the year, when we watched it again, I still teared up. :) In all honesty, I watch that one the most often, and it never ceases to give me the feels. We are so glad we did! The photos turned out so beautiful that we decided to use them as our maternity pictures. Our photographer, Obrayan, was patient, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the shoot. He had even researched and saved several maternity poses for us to try, which made the experience so much easier. He helped us with our posing and was open to trying new, fun shots, including some in the ocean. Capturing the words of our ceremony, the cocktail reception, our guests reactions when we entered the tent for the first time, the surprise hula I did for my husband, our first dance, and all of the other sounds and words of happiness was so important to me. But the magic really happens during the editing process, and Michelle did a superior job. She blended wonderful moments, words and music together seamlessly, creating a beautiful story of our special day. It was like they had fallen off the face of the earth. In fact, I was worried that Jon had been in a terrible accident and was lying in a hospital somewhere in a coma. He was such a nice, personable, professional guy that this sudden lapse in professionalism was difficult to comprehend in any sensible way. Not the way to do business. So, happily, Jon finally emailed the link to the photo gallery today, and I am very pleased to report that they are gorgeous! We couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you very much, Jon! We would have been content to wait for 6 weeks (or even longer if necessary)for the photos if only you had simply responded with a text or email that they would be forthcoming! Or even told us at the end of the photo shoot that it would take several weeks. The total lack of response made us all think that you had just pocketed the money with no intention of providing the product for which we paid. We are all most grateful that turned out to NOT be the case!
