The young man working the register was polite and took the safety briefing very seriously. He's the type of guy you want at the register dealing with clueless customers such as myself. The young men running the track were great. They were polite and accommodating. They helped my short daughter get set up correctly. They made sure we were set and just laid back, nice guys. Was it pricey, 15 laps for $450, but our group had a ton of fun. The track is a bit worn down and could use some maintenance along with the cars themselves. The cars were inconsistent. I had three different cars; each one felt different. My last car drifted a lot, despite driving it about the same as the other cars. Their helmets were old and could use an upgrade. I'm glad I wore my sunglasses and kept the visor up to see more clearly.

Bashing into each other? Standard procedure. Plowing friends into the barriers? A rite of passage. Spinning the slowpokes like they were caught in a tornado? Oh, you bet. Chaos? Yes, oh yes - it was glorious chaos, plus this kind of mayhem wasn't just tolerated, it was practically the norm back then. Yes sir, those were indeed the good old days! Presently, they have some sort of remote device they can (and do) use to throttle the kart down to a standstill if anyone gets crazy. No more playing demolition derby, no more t-boning or ramming each other, and in a nutshell, no more shenanigans on this track. No sir indeed, those good old days are gone! Be that as it may, it's still only $8.00 a race with no helmets required! Therefore, this track still stands as THE BEST Go-Kart Track of ALL-TIME in my opinion. ALL-TIME!

After booking tickets online, we arrived and learned that we also had to purchase a required membership pass. That extra charge wasn't clearly disclosed to me during checkout. If a membership is mandatory, customers should see the full cost before paying and making the drive. Finding out at the counter felt misleading. The website advertised speeds of 45 mph, but the front-counter employee told us he could slow the karts down. They definitely didn't feel that fast to me, although I can't verify the actual speed. The experience didn't match the expectations the advertising created. When I brought up the membership fee with the manager, he essentially said it was corporate policy and there was nothing he could do. I understand he may not control the policy, but his response felt dismissive rather than helpful. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision before booking. Ask about the required membership fee, the total price, and what speeds you can realistically expect. Clear upfront pricing and a more thoughtful response would have made a big difference.
