It is small, crowded, and the waiting area is very small so I recommend that parents wait in the car. Sometimes parents bring younger siblings too while waiting; and the kids just run wild, uncontrolled, screaming and being very distracting for those music lessons. This is why this is 4 stars instead of 5. However, it is much better now that Spotlight no longer rents part of their studio out to Martial Arts. Teachers are excellent here, love their jobs, love the kids and it totally shows. All lessons are private and it's affordable too.

My middle schooler commented that without the Tutoring Club teachers, he'd have a very difficult understanding the math concepts taught to them in class. Lydia, who manages the program, is extremely smart, kind and gives regular and honest feedback about how the students are doing. Right off the bat, you can tell he was going to be a cool and laid back teacher. Curtis is a professional and was professional in this course. He made sure that before we moved on, that we were confident in what we just learned. Any questions we had, he took his time on answering it. We never felt rushed. Curtis also had a great sense of humor because I was struggling on tying a certain knot. I didn't know the class was watching me struggle. As I tried my hardest to mimic Curtis' knot, Curtis jokingly said, "I'll be grading you on your knot." I would have failed. Great course! Highly recommend!

I have done CPR/FirstAid/AED training 2 times before (this was my third time) and I can honestly…read moresay that this was the best training I have ever done! Not only did I learn more in this training, but it was more enjoyable and a better use of my time (didn't drag on). The best part was that this was a hybrid course and I completed the majority of it online first - it is official Red Cross online training (you can even go back and access it later if you want as a refresher). The amazing part about it being online was the online training was very informative - it was very simulation based (like a video game) where you had to assess the situation and make different choices. I learned more this way than I ever did before because it was actually practical knowledge that I got to apply. Then by the time I attended in person we went over everything we learned online using the in person training aids (mannequins, AEDs, first aid bandages/wraps, etc.) and that was such a great reinforcement of what I learned online that this time the knowledge really sunk into my brain and I feel more confident knowing the skills than I ever have before. Also, in person the trainer, Brenden, was very entertaining and such a wealth of information. In addition to the training, he shared with us real life examples and stories to add to our knowledge which was very helpful. Because it is Covid, we wore our masks the entire time, sat 6 feet apart and had our own materials to work with (we didn't share and we didn't work with a partner). I felt super safe and I learned a lot! I highly recommend Key CPR to everyone! It is sooooo much better than other programs I learned in the past!

He's very organized, thorough, knowledgeable, considerate and follow ups on instructions. His teaching method is very effective. He also offers piano camp for the summer. It's a great program. That helps kids be more entertained and learn faster. He allows the kids to pick their favorite song to learn or play for the recital. It's affordable and flexible on scheduling. I would definitely recommend Eric to everyone who wants to learn piano!!!!!

I am writing an updated review of Mr. Eric's piano school after being with his studio for nearly 4…read moreyears. Mr. Eric is an exceptional piano teacher and mentor. He has worked with my son for several years, and the growth we've seen -- musically and emotionally -- has been meaningful and lasting. One of Mr. Eric's greatest strengths is how thoughtfully he approaches each student as an individual with patience, flexibility, and genuine care. He takes the time to truly get to know his students -- their personalities, learning styles, sensitivities, and strengths -- and his teaching reflects that care and intention. My son is neurodivergent, and Mr. Eric has an intuitive ability to meet him where he is while still maintaining high musical standards. He knows when to slow down, when to gently challenge, and when to give space -- all while preserving my child's confidence and love of music. His teaching is grounded in strong classical foundations but allows room for creativity and exploration. Lessons are structured yet flexible, and my son genuinely looks forward to them. It's clear that Mr. Eric deeply cares about his students -- not just as musicians, but as people. We have been with Mr. Eric since the time when he taught at my son's Montessori school in Long Beach, while also teaching piano lessons out of his house. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of witnessing his business grow from a small, intimate program into to his now expanded studio in Huntington Beach, supported by highly capable, friendly staff and a growing student community. When my son moved on from the Montessori school, we initially tried to find a piano teacher closer to home. After interviewing several teachers, it became evident that no one could compare to what Mr. Eric offered -- not just in piano instruction, but in genuine connection. We ultimately chose to continue making the longer drive each week to preserve that mentorship relationship for our son. I have shared with Mr. Eric -- a Royal Conservatory trained Classical Pianist -- that while he's exceptionally talented at both playing and teaching piano, his greatest gift is in his ability to connect with children. He also a devoted father to his own young daughter, and that care and warmth clearly carry over into his teaching. Mr. Eric also uses the Piano Express method, which is a unique and highly effective teaching approach that gamifies lessons to increase engagement, and is not commonly found in other studios. This program supports rapid learning while fostering independence and confidence at the piano. It gives students a clear structure for understanding music, allows them to practice more independently at home, and helps parents support learning between lessons. We found this method to be incredibly empowering for our child and a key part of his musical progress. If you're looking for a piano teacher who is skilled, patient, and especially thoughtful with all children, including those who are neurodivergent, I highly recommend Mr. Eric.

As a nursing student, I needed to get certified quickly without breaking my budget or missing classes, and this was perfect. The BLS online module took me about 45 minutes to complete between study sessions. The PALS and ACLS online portions each took around 2 hours, which I did late at night after clinicals. Being able to pause and come back to it made a huge difference since I'm juggling school, work, and rotations. The in-person skills check was only 30 minutes for all three certifications, which honestly surprised me. The instructor was thorough but efficient, and I felt confident in my skills by the end. The location is super convenient if you're coming from Westminster, Garden Grove, Fountain Valley, Anaheim, or anywhere near Orange CA. I drove from Garden Grove and it only took about 10 minutes. Easy to find with plenty of parking. All three certifications are American Heart Association (AHA) courses. As a college student, I really appreciated the discounted bundle pricing and not having to spend an entire day in a classroom. If you're in Orange County or around Westminster or Garden Grove searching for CPR certification, I'd definitely recommend Pulse CPR.
