I had a post for my front tooth for many years and it was an accident waiting to happen. My…read moredentist kept replacing the post and trying to get it right. It would work for a few months and then get loose. The seal between the post and the bone was never secure and I was always worried about losing the tooth. When I was on the east coast visiting my cousin, I mentioned the loose tooth and he immediately referred me to Dr Edibam for a proper review. Dr Edibam did an impressive x-ray that showed that the post was not only poorly done but was creating a long-term health issue. The post was creating inflammation and bone loose in my upper pallet. The short-term fix my dentist was doing for me was creating a much bigger health challenge for me. Dr Edibam did a full tooth extraction, then placed an implant and temporary tooth within a 24 hour time period. I was at business meetings with 48 hours. Dr Edibam has amazing hands and skills. The operation was flawless and I could barely see the cut into my gums and it was healed within a few days. One year later, my front tooth is incredible and has truly changed my life. Do not hesitate to call Dr Edibaum to review your dental health. You are truly lucky to have such a resource in your community.

Dr. Edibam is the worst doctor I've ever seen. He accused me of lying by saying "you're lying"…read moredirectly to my face. Then proceeded to ask me why I'm here if I did not bring a physical CD of my CT SCAN, although I spoke to front desk over the phone and they said to email it and then when I got there to check in, I confirmed again if my imaging was ok and the lady at the front desk said yes. Dr. Edibam said that's not possible that his staff didn't say that and said I'm lying. He then proceeded to yell at me saying there's nothing wrong with me and he can't do anything. Then I explained my symptoms and he said everyone else has the same symptoms. He then laughed at me and said "you were born this way, what do you want me to do?" And I started crying and looked to the medical assistant who was a young female who looked away while standing behind me. I asked her why she is letting the doctor speak to me this way and asked if she was a woman also. She proceeded to leave the room and block the door. I felt very unsafe and he charged me for the visit anyways and when I called to take it off the lady at the front desk said no. Please do not go here. Especially if you're a young female. I'm a young back women and I'm not sure if that's why he was triggered and bullied me as a doctor in the visit. If you are going to go, being your parents or someone Who is able to oversee and step up for you. I reported Dr. Edibam to the state medical board and submitted an investigation with my dental insurance. I don't wish for anyone else to go through this, especially if it was bias or racist.

So to be VERY clear! I am NOT a frequent flyer at the dentist office! I've never even had so much…read moreas a cavity in my 30+ years of living! No braces growing up NOTHING! outside of yearly cleanings and X-rays. I'm basically a catholic saint when it comes to teeth. However I was horrified to find out I had to have ALL 4 of my wisdom teeth removed last year during my routine yearly cleanings and x-ray exam with my regular dentist. For YEARS I had a very good dentist who told me "hey if they don't bother you, you don't bother them" type deal with my wisdom teeth. So after seeing a new dentist he told me I had NO CHOICE, but to have them removed because they were pushing against my other teeth and 1 wisdom tooth was already impacted! I was referred to some young hot shot know it all dentist who had all kinds of fancy drone shots of his dental practice in Norwalk plastered all over his website. Well suffice to say Mr. hot shot dentist literally wasted 2 hours of my time, $500.00 dollars in a consultation fee and some fancy over the top additional NOT COVERED by insurance 3D X-ray. He told me there was no way he could remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth he could MAYBE at BEST remove 3 and I would likely experience more pain than I had ever experienced in my life and possible nerve damage in my jaw and face. If I wanted to be put to sleep the extraction would have to be done in A HOSPITAL! because for whatever reason he was afraid to give me anesthesia in his office. On top of a dental bill well OVER $2500 dollars WITH insurance. The guy was a real bozo! I left that dentist office crying, petrified, and confused as to what to do next! A friend referred me to Dr. Sciarrino! He took ONE look at my BASIC covered by insurance X-rays shrugged his shoulders and said I'll have ALL 4 of these wisdom teeth out in 90 minutes you go home come back in a week I'll take the stitches out and you'll never see me again! Pain? What pain? You see all these medical degrees on my wall! Never mind those! In all his years of practice he's never had someone experience excessive pain or complications from his wisdom teeth removal. As perfect and straight as my teeth are my wisdom teeth were no walk in the park! I had 1 impacted, 1 on its way to being impacted, with nerves going through it. The other two were easy removals. I don't even think Dr. Sciarrino asked me if I wanted to proceed with his services or not he just smiled walked me to the front desk had one of the ladies schedule me in and said see you in a month and by the way get a COVID Test before you come here for surgery because ain't nobody got time for that! I paid my bill in full with the office a week before surgery I was told the cost it would be ahead of time so I planned out my finances accordingly and the cost to Dr. Sciarrino was a little over $1,000 bucks and that was only because of the anesthesia! Most if not all dental insurance plans do not cover anesthesia! I do not like pain or any kind of discomfort. I told Dr. Sciarrino during the surgery prep I wanted whatever the stuff was that Michael Jackson got PLUS TAX! None of that laughing Gas, awake, but not awake, twilight stuff! if I ended up playing checkers with Michael Jackson in the day room of Heaven then so be it I wanted to feel No pain! Dr. Sciarrino removed all my wisdom teeth, sent me home with directions and the basic pain and antibiotic prescriptions! I didn't even take the pain killers. Extra strength Tylenol was more then enough to keep me comfortable I had NO excessive bleeding, NO excessive pain nor discomfort! I went back a week later had the stitches taken out and true to his word I haven't seen him since! The most annoying part of this whole process was I couldn't eat my Sourdough Nibbler Pretzels for 2 months after the surgery while the extraction sites healed. I say all of that to say if you have to beg, borrow, and steal to find the money to see Dr. Sciarrino then you do just that! Dip into your kids college funds, refinance your house whatever you need to do just get to Dr. Sciarrino and do not waste your time or money with any other dentist! It's Dr. Sciarrino or nothing at all!

Patients Beware!!!I had an extensive treatment plan that was over two years, including multiple…read moreextractions. During the final extraction, a devastating mistake was made. When I woke up from anesthesia I discovered the WRONG TOOTH was PULLED. I then had to ask for the proper tooth to be removed. I was lied to about what took place by office staff, and did not see Dr Sciarrino from that point forward on that visit. I was in the state of shock when going back to the office for pain medication and follow ups. Each visit different staff members tried to persuade me that this was part of the treatment plan when it was never documented or discussed. There was no acknowledgment or ownership of the wrong doing. There was an offer made for the additional work that needed to be done at cost. I suffered for four months in severe pain impacting every area of my life. I then had a very difficult time trusting providers after this betrayal. In addition, I've now learned that I was offered, and recommended to have anesthesia at a high out-of-pocket expense by this office when it actually wasn't needed for many of the procedures.

She explained everything clearly, checked on me constantly, and worked with such a calm confidence that I never felt nervous for a single minute. The procedure itself was quick, comfortable, and far easier than I expected. What really stood out, though, was how genuine she is -- she treated me like a person, not just another appointment on the schedule. It's rare to find a specialist who is both incredibly skilled and truly caring, but Dr. Stein is exactly that. If you need a root canal and you're dreading it, go to her. I left feeling relieved, grateful, and honestly impressed. Couldn't recommend her more.

I would not recommend this group EVER!!!!…read more For the last year - I have been dealing with a bill from stein dental group. I have not visited them since 2019-I called and emailed several times no one returned my calls. In March I finally posted a review. Dr. Stein himself called me after seeing the. review. He asked me to take it down and he would "handle": my bill that he would make sure it was cleared up and that the bill would be cleared and make sure that I owed nothing. Forward to today. I trusted the owner of this establishment Took down my review. He did not own up to his promise of deleting what his billing department said I "owed" I have since moved (been divorced since 09) I got a bill in the mail that only tooik 200 off the bill then I got another bill for my ex husband (he has not moved in more that 20 years) at my new address with the full amount Dr. Stein said he would delete because I do. not owe it period. My ex husband does not owe it either. So I called three times no one supposidly gave the doctor the message so I went in yesterday. Dr stein said I have patinent and I am busy this weekend can I call you next week. I he said "trust me" I did and you failed. I then asked him why would someone change my ex husbands address. his excuse was they were updated the computer system. well the computer system doesnt change addresses by themselves do they? and that is also why my bill wasnt cleared mmmmm well it took off 200 and gave it to my ex husband. what a excuse.

I have been going to him since last year and there is such a huge difference in between my old dentist and Dr. Kim and I already see so many improvements in general. I found out a few things that my old dentist and orthodontist had told me that were not entirely accurate or even helpful for my invisaligns, I'm just thankful now that I have Dr. Kim to go to! It is really nice and assuring because Dr. Kim gives advice both from straight up dentist and an orthodontist perspectives. I highly recommend him for both dentist and brace/invisalign related works and even more! It is amazing what he did with the old office also!

After the first day of work on my teeth, he was also concerned about my comfort constantly. He even called me at home and offered me his cell phone number if I had any issues. His staff is polite and excellent with financing, billing, and appointments. I'm not finished yet, with my treatment so I don't know yet how I'll look, but I feel completely comfortable with Dr. Kim and his staff. I'm sure that my new implants will come out perfect and I can't wait to have my new upper and lower implants. Dr. Kim is as good as any other dentists that I had for 20 years. My main reason for having Dr. Kim at first is that his dental fees are the most reasonable, and others dental implant fees are almost double, which is unaffordable for me..Dr. Kim makes his fees totally affordable, because he has the special equipment and training to make the implants in his office lab. I am thankful for that. Saving money is very important, and Dr. Kim makes my implants affordable to have. I really appreciate High Ridge Family Dental.
