From the outside, it's as close to a vegas vibe you can get from a WA native casino. It's unfortunate that's the ONLY positive. My entire block goes down. An attendant was quick to respond.. then he presses the cashout button triggering a handbag. They said wait. I smoke.. this place is 95% non-smoking. You wait. And they did. I took it as a sign to not to play and threw my player card away. Bad juju. Try again tomorrow.

We absolutely love the private beach access--it's one of our favorite parts of the campground and makes for such a relaxing getaway. The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming, and both the booking process and check-in are quick and easy. The camp store is super convenient for grabbing anything you forgot or need during your stay. This year, we even hosted our nephew's birthday party here, and it was perfect! The park allows day visitors for just $8, giving them access to the entire park and private beach. It made it so easy for our family and friends to spend the day with us without having to camp overnight. One of our favorite things is watching the massive cargo ships pass by on the Columbia River. It's so cool to see them glide by from the beach--you don't realize just how enormous they are until they're right in front of you! The park is also incredibly dog-friendly, with plenty of space to walk, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. Between the berry picking, wildlife (they have resident giant geese, and we saw a ton of bats and a few deer!) and the beach, there's always something to do for both kids and adults. The only thing I'd suggest is a little more attention to the bathrooms. They weren't bad by any means, but they're small enough that a more frequent deep clean would go a long way. Knocking down the spider webs more regularly and keeping the hand soap stocked would make an already great campground even better. We'll definitely be back again next year. Reeder Beach has become one of our favorite summer traditions!

The PNW environment is beautiful and restorative, and the resort has multiple hiking trails that let you see the entire mountain (though fair warning that many are rigorous hikes and occasionally not conducive to doing them naked. Bring water and bug spray!) The actual resort area is incredible, with a pool, spa, sauna, and clubhouse full of board games, billiards, darts, and other amenities, all open 24/7. There's so much to do, and the community is friendly and full of people of all ages. I won several medals at SportFest and am absolutely going back next year! My one advice is to bring your own food and aloe vera, those were the two facets of my trip I wished I'd been a little more prepared. While it lives up to the name "resort," it is also very much a campsite and it will feel like you are either camping or RVing during your time there. But that's no reason not to visit, it's a wonderful experience and I'll absolutely be coming back!

We are on a summer nudist resort trip. Our first nudist stop in Oregon was Mountaindale Sun Resort…read more(MSR) outside of Portland. This small resort is located in the mountains. They warn everyone that there is a pretty steep 12 degree grade/incline on the entry road so anyone pulling an RV use caution. But once up there, the setting is gorgeously wooded & rustic. It's very tranquil...it feels like a retreat! The resort doesn't have hotels/rooms/cabins (called "bunkies" in the NW) for rent. They recently did get an RV they rent out and may get more options in the future. There are several areas to tent (no elec or water) and plentiful RV spots. We were lucky that we were friends with a member and were invited to stay at her place. It felt like we were sleeping in a tree house the way it was nestled into the mountain. The resort has a clean large pool, an indoor hot tub, sauna, sports court, rec hall, and a gaming room with ping pong and billiards pool tables. People were reading and relaxing in the outside common areas, scattered between the shaded tree-lined perimeter and the colorful gardens. Bathrooms and shower areas were large & clean. There was a laundry area but we didn't notice a common kitchen area for guest use like the other resorts we've been to so far. They did have a few snacks & ice cream for sale, as well as a little "merch" area. The crown jewel of this resort is their trails! They have many volunteers who maintain them. They are very proud of them...as they should be. The entire resort is run via a co-op of volunteers, and most work gets done by the members. The "host" (front desk guy) was very helpful. We arrived the day of their annual board meeting so we felt lucky to meet so many of the "movers & shakers" there - especially a few of the board members! The day included a small local band & a BBQ dinner. The newly renovated rec hall made for a great place for the dinner & social area. We made new friends who invited us for drinks & dessert (and fabulous conversation) that night. It was a great day. MSR is trying to amp up their marketing & activities to boost interest and memberships. A newer event, Sports Fest, had concluded a couple weeks before we arrived & was a huge success. It offered something for everyone - from pickleball clinics & tourneys to a fun poker run through the woods. Bummed we missed it but it'll be an annual event. Check it out if you're on this side of the country next July! They used to have a Trail Run challenge up the mountain side & are discussing bringing it back. A few other things to know: *It's clothing optional except in the pool & hot tub. Most everyone was nude while we were there. *There is a strict no photo policy (stickers are provided/required over your phone cameras). We did get permission from leadership to take these photos and help spread the word about this beautiful resort. *Rates are affordable. *No cell phone service there but WiFi worked well. The resort's motto is "Just Wear A Smile". This & other cute signs were posted to help encourage nudity. It is a good deal colder, especially in the evenings, than FL where we are from so of course there's a bit more leeway (and necessity) regarding clothes. We loved the vibe & the people at MSR & will definitely be back!

One even hooked up to the potable water. Since then it has put a barrier so no one can park there. Now it is available for those of us who need to dumb or fill the potable water. Because of the significant change and keeping the back area clean, they get 4 stars. Why deduct a star? The side and front of the location are not as well kept. We only camp in the summer and have been using this spot a few times each summer. I hope that it keeps improving. Last visit was summer 2025.

Gee Creek, located a bit to the north of Vancouver, WA, is a great stopping point on a trip to Oregon (or points farther south). It's got plenty of parking (yes, even enough for our large travel trailer), extra restrooms so long lines are avoided, and everything is clean and well laid out. They even have shaded picnic tables if you need a longer break, and a pet area. Rest areas aren't exactly the most glamorous place. But when you find a good one, it's worth making a mental note for your next trip. Because once you cross that border into Oregon...the restroom pickings are quite slim.

This is my 2nd review now. I had my remaining lot for sale but last weekend a giant tree snapped…read moreand went through my roof. The damage from this makes my little place a total loss. I needed several people to have access for insurance as well as workers. The people contracted with insurance are not on some list the office has so they can't be let in unless Im present to do so AND stay onsite the entire time they're working. Im 2 hours away and recently had hip revision surgery. If I were able to stay up in camp it wouldn't be so bad but there's a huge hole in my roof and the interior is soaked. The staff has not been helpful one bit. My hope is to clean this site up and sell it so I never, ever have to deal with these people again. BUYERS BEWARE! Membership is about 3k a year. Power and water are frequently out for days. There are frequent rule changes that you aren't aware of unless you attend meetings or hear about it from other members. What a disaster this place has become. Poor communication and frequent misunderstandings among staff, expensive, and just not the carefree relaxed experience it was 9 years ago.

I lost a glove and walked back to our campsite after we left to look for it. Several hours later the camp host called to see what we might have lost since someone had seen me looking around and they checked to see if it was anything important. They also let us do a late checkout since the nest place we were going was only half an hour away and discouraged early checkins. It also is in easy walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, and a hardware store, we needed antifreeze which thank goodness they had since the nighttime temp was 26 degrees.
