Their sandwiches are fantastic! The choices are endless and all ingredients are fresh and yummy. All sandwiches are made to order so no need to fear for a soggy bread roll. Also their coffee is of good quality and so are their salads that are popular among the hungry businessmen and -women who come here for lunch. I like to come here for a late breakfast or brunch, or to just grab a sandwich on the go when in a hurry.

I came to know Kanniston Leipomo when I recently moved to punavuori and ever since I (wherever I can) drop by for a cake. I must mentioned how easy it is to notice how passionate these bakers are, as well as inspiring it is what they do here, from the cakes to the pastries, I just love how good their variety is. From rye bread, pulla, loaf bread and voisarvi to traditional Finnish cakes and even a pretty tasty red velvet. The place is quiet and calm, (not much of seating space though), prices are pretty affordable and if you ask me, I will definitely say quality wise, it is worth a visit. perhaps a good option for a rainy afternoon coffee with a friend. Sitting inside it gets pretty crowded -- both downstairs and upstairs -- and there are so many regular customers that I hypothesize are permanently attached to the inside tables. Delivo publishes their daily lunch menu on their website, but I rarely check it -- they always have hearty salads with many toppings to choose from, so I take that if I'm not feeling the lunch specials. My favorite salad here is smoked salmon with goat cheese -- massive toppings! They also offer soupe du jour -- both their tomato soup and borsch are extremely flavorful. The artisan bread on the side is fantastic. So if you find yourself in Munkkiniemi, and weather allowing, drop by Delivo and grab some affordable, tasty lunch to enjoy on the terrace!
