Website says they perform tests, even states that…read moreappointments are not necessary and you can 'walk-in' but even when you do make an appointment, instead of contacting you to tell you they can't do what you need, they let you drive an hour +. We checked in at arrival and waited over 15mins in the car without anyone telling us they were ready for us and to come in. Nope. So we went inside. Guess what? They knew we were there, knew we had an appointment and had just decided to ignore us. We confirmed they knew we were there and the lady at the desk said "I've never done that and we don't do that here". Wait! What?! For context - "that" is a hair follicle test. The test is listed on their website and you have to select it in order to make the appointment. According to their website, this is a test they perform at the exact location I scheduled an appointment at (you sort locations based o service needed, so......). If all that was frustrating enough, she didn't even care enough to offer any assistance in figuring out how to get the testing done or which lab could help. Unbelievable. Completely unprofessional and a total waste of time, gas and energy.

It was a little bit confusing that this office was the place to go for the precheck appointment. The front desk gal was a nice lady. I had arrived a little bit late. I got stuck by a train and got held up in traffic..... They still allowed me to get seen. The lady doing the appointments was fast, friendly and professional. It was quick and easy. When we arrived, the door to the blood draw office was wide open but no one was around. We waited, because we thought that maybe they had to take a specimen to the lab. After waiting app 5 minutes 2 employees went into the office. They were both carrying breakfast. Neither one of them acknowledged us. They called my wife and she made a comment about didn't think anyone was working. The receptionist made the comment, "well the door was open wasn't it?" My wife said the phlebotomist was very nice and professional. The other lady not so much. Though they did change after they learned my wife was a Banner employee and had been a supervisor in the lab at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. But that shouldn't matter. I would suggest if at all possible go to the Horizon draw center on Drake.

They are notoriously slow to process results, and this level of mismanagement seems to be standard operating procedure. My husband hadn't had a physical since he was 16...he was 31 when he went to DMC. She was fabulous doing a good family history and a good baseline of tests. He now is ok going to the "doc" and that's directly because of her personality. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
