I recently had a , I arrived 30-40 minutes early to my appointment. I wasn't seen until 12 PM, there were families that were coming in right after me, and they were right away. Either the facility is against certain ethnicities, I'm not a racist! I was not raised or born as a racist! But this facility has their own ethnicity group I can say, majority of them Hispanics, but yesterday me and another woman waited way longer than that we were supposed to. I'm European, and when I go to the facility, I'm always arriving 30 minutes or 45 minutes early so I can be seen on time. I was not seen on time! there was a black woman in the waiting room when I got there, and she kept complaining that she arrived 45 minutes early and was still waiting to be seen. There were families coming out from the back after being seen and they were leaving. They had plenty of staff, yet they kept apologizing, saying that they were super busy. Which was not the facts! it was unprofessional for the staff to call people in the back 10 or 20 minutes after their scheduled appointment. I was finally called in the back around 12 PM, I was pissed. They took my stats and measurements and had me sit in the back on a chair because my room was not ready yet. I sat in that chair for maybe three or four minutes, then all of a sudden, the same black woman that I saw in the waiting room with me. She finally was seen right after me. She also complained that she was here for over an hour now and was finally being seen. The nurse that was helping her out apologized and said we're sorry we're very busy. I left in my head and I'm like no you weren't! You had a lot of families coming out from the back after being seen. this facility is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I convenient for a lot of patience, but are on documented, it's really frustrating that they allow undocumented patients be seen faster than the ones that actually have documents. I used to go to the facility in Whittier, I was going there for a good couple of years, my Physician/Doctor. I have been a patient of hers for over 10 years. Last year January I found out that she left this facility and ended up getting a new job elsewhere. Without even a warning. I felt very uncomfortable with the new doctor that took her place, the lady hardly English and didn't know anything about my health record my past. Which I felt very uncomfortable for, so it took me a while to actually find a doctor understand me. I finally found one in the city of Downey, but this facility is just too much. This facility needs to be checked up on and needs to be fixed ASAP!

Being a very large organization is slightly disadvantageous to most patients coming here for care…read more A recent literal whitewash of the medical buildings makes it hard to locate the suites. Formerly buildings were identifiable by color. Many of the patients have difficulty locating the suites or office. Parking has always been quite difficult despite several floors to the parking structure and a sprawling complex. You can check in through your phone or on a kiosk, then proceed to the appointment where the receptionist will still verify your arrival. Otherwise we are fairly satisfied with the care received. Physician, nurses, case manager or clinical assistant are all professional and courteous. Navigating the healthcare system through Kaiser is sometimes challenging as far as wait times go. I still recommend this overall.

I was told that after the surgery I wouldn't need prisms anymore and to get new glasses made, so I did Unfortunately they only worked for two weeks and then I was back to double vision again. I just had new glasses made and they have an upgraded prescription for my prisms. I am seeing really well right now. I hope it lasts. I got regular glasses and sunglasses. My sunglasses are so cool. They are Ray-Bans. I got an excellent parking spot outside and I didn't have to go into the parking structure. I think this only happens first thing in the morning and during lunchtime.

The doctors took advantage of the fact I was still in shock and ordered an x-ray of my ankle and hand. The hand needed to be done because I was in a lot of pain and my finger had swollen to twice its size, my ankle was ok but a little swollen and bleeding. Looking back I should have told her I didn't need an x-ray on my foot since I WAS WALKING without a limp. But, still in shock I didn't make a fuss. My finger got an x-ray and let me tell you something, their x-ray machine is STATIONARY. So here I am, later to find out I have a fractured finger and the doctor is moving my fingers all crazy to get a good angle. WTF? You should be moving your x-ray machine around me, not moving ME around your machine! She could have hurt the injury worse! After x-rays were done apparently nothing is wrong but when a second doctor comes and sees the results she says I have a fracture and I overhear the first one saying "oh I can't believe I missed that" well, it just makes me think what else she misses when she looks at other people. I will never go back, nor recommend this place to anyone, ever. *update* I got a call from them 4 days later saying they have the results of my visit but I needed to pay them $30 to obtain them. What a load of sh*t. They already swindled $90 from me for an x-ray I didn't need, now they want me to pay for me results. Greedy, nasty, scumbag scammers. DO NOT COME HERE!!

My clinician was good at getting to the root of my questions, explained things in simple way to understand, & he provided information about why he recommended certain things, & not others. He was respectful, honest, & made me trust his professional judgement. He also provided medical knowledge regarding my age, health in a way I hadn't realized I needed to hear such information. He was insightful. I walked in as a new patient, had my vitals taken, saw the PA, & had all concerns addressed. I also received my referral/lab testing documentation in under an hour. Very satisfied.
